Movement in the anime is so much more real and dynamic, and the choreography is just better. So many action movies think slowmo = cool, but it ruins the grittiness of the action. Imagine if the Bourne action sequences had been filmed like this. Would have killed all the momentum and impact.
The live action is a bit absurd, amazing how the anime makes the movements seem more real than the same "real life" the slow motion does not make sense and the movements are very stupid
In combat or intense sports your perception of time is hightened. Seeing someone in the air for what feels like 5 seconds is real but in reality it was only 1.

This is one of the few times where I prefer the live action to the anime. Both are amazing and I love them, but when I think of them separately, I preferred the newer version just a bit. The changes they made work if you're willing to be open minded and treat it as a new story that can be different from the original. The visuals were surprisingly beautiful, too.
The background things i agree, but the action looks quite worse without the keyposes to be honest and some of the camera angle look cheap shaky camera john wick, in contrast to some of the better angles of the anime where we see everything centered, which gives it a more artistic look.
