- Steel-High came out Friday night and were determined to get payback against a Big Spring team that beat them a year ago. The Rollers quarterback Alex Erby was very impressive throwing for over 200 yards and four touchdowns on the night. The big-time recruit was poised in the pocket and played pitch and catch with his receivers all night.
The Roller defense played with a chip on their shoulder all night, forcing 7 fumbles and limiting Big Spring to only 9 first downs. Eugene Green led the rollers defensively finishing with 1.5 sacks, 10 tackles, and a fumble recovery that he took 35-yards for a touchdown.
Steel High improves to 3-1 overall and hosts Camp Hill next Saturday at noon. Big Springs falls to 2-3 overall and will play host Trinity Friday night.
