As someone who has been fighting incurable metastatic breast cancer for over 7 years I can relate to this amazing young woman. My chances of surviving past 5 years was 27% and now that percentage is even lower. But I always try to stay positive and tell myself that things could be worse. This woman has such a beautiful soul and is an inspiration not only to me and others in similar situations, she is an inspiration to everyone!!!! God bless her!!! ❤❤❤

i so cried..even though i loved her voice and words..i have felt what she says ..i had stage four malignant melonoma and travelled through it i was lucky i got a trial drug from america even though im a brit in england i know how lucky i am ..and i love moments when i see you laugh and smile..thanks for showing this..and thank you for your smile...

Well, I enjoyed every part of that. Especially from the part where Simon is so gobsmacked (at six minutes in) he spouts gibberish to about seven minutes in where the look of concern on your face reminds me of a mother watching her young child perform a solo at her first recital. "Oh, she has nobody there with her. ..She's so small!" And then your smile when she got the Golden Buzzer! I would guess your superpower is your empathy. A condition brought about by being a wonderful human being I'll bet.

The beginning of her song sounded like the piano section of “ the escapist “ an instrumental by Coldplay and it left me in a sobbing mess . She was so wonderful . What a courageous women !!

That statement REALLY hits home for me. I have a good number of chronic and physical health conditions and I always say things like this on a regular basis...I mean, sure you take time to really realize and life is a learning and growing process. Sure life can be pretty hard some days and not the funnest but I ALWAYS say: AS LONG AS MY HEART IS GOOD, I'M GOOD!...
So the measure of "doing good" or "doing bad" is really all relative...The measure of a "good" or "bad" life is all relative...It's important to WORK WITH LIFE, NOT AGAINST IT!
Another thing I say is: WE ARE ALL MEANT TO BE EXACTLY WHO WE ARE, OTHERWISE WE WOULD OF BEEN BORN SOMEONE ELSE WITH A DIFFERENT LIFE, SO EVERYONE IS IMPORTANT AND MEANT TO BE HERE! WE ALL HAVE A REASON FOR EXISTING NO MATTER WHAT OUR INDIVIDUAL LIVES MIGHT ENTAIL!...

Have to listen to the very end when she says she has a 2 percent chance of several but that's not 0 percent. She was married but they superadded when she got cancer. That is so sad, especially when she was sick. A choir from South Africa came and sang this song on AGT. This is the song they sang as a Tribute to Nightbird. I cried so much and even Simon cried. Beautiful voice, beautiful outlook on life, beautiful gorgeous ANGEL. I know she helped a lot of people with what she is going through. She couldn't finish her AGT but left us all with this beautiful lady. Love always. Ontario, Canada

My grandmother had pancreatic cancer and was told she had 6 months. She vowed she would live long enough to see her last grandchild walk. Ten and half years later she saw my little sister walk in the hospital and she laid down and said 'I'm ready to go'. She passed away. Pure human will power can do a lot. The autopsy showed she had quarter size holes in her organs, they did not know how she was managing to stay alive for as long as she had.
Now that's Talent! She did a great job.

She's been playing on my favorite radio station RadioU, it's a smaller Christian station and only broadcast in few places, for a few years now. Mainly one song called 'Girl in a Bubble.' I had no idea of her story but I've heard a few interviews and she was always so bubbly and positive I never guessed. Praying and rooting for her.
I heard it first on RadioU, and only saw the AGT today by accident. She said, "this is an original" and I was like, no its not, its on the radio. Its pretty amazing.

I just lost one of my older sisters to terminal pancreatic cancer in May. Felt so heartwarming to see this lady smile through everything shes going through with just 2% survival rate. You just still gotta fight the best you can nomatter what.

I am currently losing a Loved one to terminal Lung Cancer and I saw this performance this week. Her song resonated with me and it is so sad that this beautiful voice & soul well be leaving us soon as well.

She meant it was about this past year that she's been through. With terminal cancer though I'm sure she treats every day like it is her last. I guess we should all do that as no one is promised tomorrow.
