One thing I really admire about SDA is the simplicity of the church. No loud music and right to the Bible.
That's because they didnt record to musik, they do sing praises to the Lord God.
And if I remember right, God loves when we sing, from our heart.
And yes, straight to the bible I love mixed with some commentary from ellen white or personal experiences, but still, bible and bible only.

As long as we stick to the bible and have an open mind as to what the bible says and pray the Holy Spirit to guide into truth then you should be fine, following Christ and doing the will of the Lord.

Also think about your actions and thoughts, are they good? In God's eyes?

I just finished listening to your sermon on 'weapons in the church'. I was feeling overwhelmed as the overview admonished us to read & KNOW our Bibles. I've had such difficulty getting through the Bible, confused & lost in a garbled message. I need to try again & get it in my mind & heart. Love the way God sends His messengers still! Praise God! However I’m so torn about the wreath representing Christmas. Even the pagans (wiccans, practitioners of reiki etc) on my corporate job are mocking at the Christians there, using spot on historical information that traces the pagan roots of not just Christmas but Easter and other religious holy days but us Bible believing Christians are still making every excuse in the book to make Christmas Christian and rendering it to our mighty King! We need to make a firm stand. The only folks confused about what Christmas is, are us Christians. Praying for all my Bible believing fellow SDA’s including our sincere influencers.

Is it just me, or did Doug not even realize at 45:31 that he gave an analogy for how God came, and we ran away, but then his son Jesus insisted on coming to us, and multitudes ran up to him because he was meek and lowly in heart, just like his son micah humbled himself down, and the pup came a runnin?... there is another text which I don't understand: 1Cor, 15:50 which says: " flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of GOD". Since we shell be transformed, we receive a new body, but this will still be a body of bones and flesh like Adam had before sin.
I can answer that question for you easily. When 1 Corinthians 15:50 says “flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God.” It is referring to our current body that is full of sin! To back this idea read 1 Corinthians 15:53 says this corruptible must put on incorruptible this mortal must cloth its self with immortality! So in plain English our current bodies our contaminated with sin that’s why Jesus died for us so that we are baptized into his death and be transformed into a new person in Christ so that when he comes we will all be transformed both the dead in Christ and the living in Christ we will be transformed into our new bodies that is with out sin!

Those that partake in the first resurrection are with spiritual body as did Christ when He resurrected.
No mystery here. Incarnation like the cross, the trinity, SUNday worship, good friday, easter & christmas are all pagan. NOWHERE in the pages of scripture do we see our saviour blessing himself with the sign of the cross or keeping easter, christmas etc. God said it best in Num 23:19 I am NOT A MAN that I would lie nor the son of man that I would repent. We know our saviour did both confirming he is our brother, our high priest & king NOT OUR GOD (in the flesh). We must overcome the world (paganism) if we are to realise the truth.

The Tanakh never states anything about Jesus. The appointed first born begotten son of YHWH is David Psalms 2, 89. The scripture tells us David is the shepherd YHWH will place over His people Ezekiel 34: David is the prince forever over the united houses of Israel and Judah! David is the one YHWH will raise up Jeremiah 30:9; David is the one the people will seek in the last days. The writings of the New Testament were created by Rome.
