Entirely agree with you. I'd prefer this natural tune of natural musicians to any show business. One can feel that music comes from their blood, not from their purse. What a wonderful experience.
The tune is 'Exploiter' (otherwise known as 'Buy Me a Zeppelin'). It was composed in the 1930s by the calypso star 'Lord Caresser' (Rufus Callender). The singer here is Madeleine Reidy.
Amazing, catchy melody, Maddy is just right for this number. The saxophone player is taller than Maddy! I though SHE was the tallest person in New Orleans. Shaye is feeling the rhythm. Interesting seeing Maddy and Shaye standing next to each other, big difference in size, but both with big personalities!
@@DanielCPurdy You are correct sir and in my humble opinion, they can usually put out some great music. I guess when someone learns of a need, they put out the word to all the bands for a superband gathering and they go with whoever shows up. Some are large while others are small. Some may have a lot of horns while others have a lot of strings. Some may have 1 or more singers while some don't. Either way, it always seems to work.

Maddy is amazing at knowing the words of really long songs; see the Superband Hold Your Hand, Madam Khan. I wish there was more of her on RUclips.

There's a man called Westen/on Borghesi who appears in 2-3 Tuba Skinny videos, plays ? banjo, who looks to be even taller.

I suspect this is a superband, in which there are often many strings players.
Superbands are just musicians who come together to raise money for a cause or to help a musician who has medical needs. Not really an organized band.
