I repeatedly watched his performance in this clip and couldn’t help being totally engrossed in his insanely masculine skating . It’s such an eye-candy that we should be thankful for him for blowing our minds by bringing a combination of athleticism and artistry to the skating community.
He's truly one of a kind, I don't even know how he does it, but he's balletic and elegant, yet masculine, cool and full of swagger all at the same time. He really is special, the full package, literally everything I need in a men's skater.

Nathan is amazing. Quads aside, he is simply a technical wizard. I don't know that we've ever seen any skater in history dominate the technical aspect of the sport the way he does. As an artist, he brings a ton of youthful energy, fun, excitement, genuineness, and versatility in his ability to handle all kinds of different dance/movement styles. His footwork....I mean, wow...very mesmerizing. He truly demonstrates the ability to control his skates well. Nathan is absolutely worthy of being a 3x World champ. If Covid hadn't happened, I firmly believe this year's championship would have been his 4th. He has been so dominant and has accomplished so much already. Now he just needs to go get that Olympic gold and then no one(not even a certain fanbase) will be able to deny him his rightful place as one of the all-time greats.
Skating just doesn't get any better than this... It's so sad that Nathan might be retiring now, that maybe (or most likely?) we won't see him compete ever again. Of course it's great that he's going back to college and in any case an athlete's career has to end at some point. But still... he will be sadly missed. There will never be another Nathan Chen.
When Yuzuru Hanyu wins, his exhibitions are beautifully crafted demonstrations of the best figure skating has to offer. When Nathan Chen wins, he slam dunk shatters the backboard. Both are the best.
Nathan Chen is the king. He's got an amazing work ethic which is why he's able to balance everything in life and get the highest quality results. Good for you Nathan. Congrats on your second World title!!!!
Nathan is smart, very smart. He aced his ACT and has a 4.0 so far at Yale. He has the brains to make his skating a mathematical work of art. his 8 years of ballet is paying off whether anyone can identify his ballet elements or not. He is a warrior and champion. He is our American Champion! You're right he is the king!

I have never seen any big figure skating fans leading a stick. He is just a stick with no artistic elements in his performance. He is just a jumper with no artistic aspects in his performance
In my opinion, he gives me a vibe which is happy in a very energetic way. Somehow it makes me feel the same way. I'm a busy student irl and doing the same shit everyday just to get the good grades feels like my life is empty. But as soon as i watch him, damn, the vibes that i need to go through the daily challenges in my life feels lot more easier. I forgot about the times where i should enjoy my life. Live a life.
I’m so happy for and proud of him. I’m getting emotional. I know he’s putting in so much work and so many hours but I bet when he skates, it’s like a vacation for him and when he competes, it’s like a party. Go Nathan!

This video made me finally realize it: With Yuzuru, he’s more thorough with technique whereas Nathan has consistency with quads and a laser-like focus on dance. This is what makes both of them special in their own ways. - Also, Yuzuru brings refreshing elegance, while Nathan brings an enthusiastic style of dance that’s unmatched on the ice. Also, with Nathan, I feel he more than likely has better control of his skates than Yuzuru just because of his choreo and the complexity of the spins with it. Both are sooo amazing though in their own right!!! 😁👌

Now this is truly how his heart skates! 🥰🙌 Fantastic! I wish figure skating competitions could have routines like this again rather than just a bunch of robotic jumps! The jumps are cool, don’t get me wrong, but this routine makes you FEEL something and is genuinely more entertaining!

Chen and Hanyu are both exceptional skaters, but talent and hardwork is demonstrated through their choreography and routine. Though their styles greatly differ it's still inspiring watching their routing on ice and always a visual delight.

We missed a terrific dance transition in the short program. It was the same problem with the long program , limited camera coverage. That said, "The Land of All" was breathtaking...........
