Alessia Mansouri So very true. The anorexia caused the cramp because her body was deficient in potassium and other nutrients that protect the muscle. Having a deficiency can cause both cramping and the tearing of muscle tissue which is extremely painful and takes time to heal.
@@scotte8629 She was for a fact anorexic and still recovering from it as it came take years to recover. As someone who has known anorexics, the cramps they suffer are worse than what not ED people may experience because of the lack of nutrients vital for muscles to function, as in muscles need some many nutrients including Calcium and Potassium to work at levels unfathomable to the human eye.
I love Yulia and I think that she is a wonderful skater and person in every single way. I mean I didn’t even see understand the title until when she didn’t jump anymore. And I think that she could have won if she didn’t get the cramp. I mean WHY HER?!?!I miss her so much.... :(

Brutal but I'm glad she fought it through! Strong girl she is.
My heart omg. Girl you have so much power and I give you respect for finishing. Your limits should not be pushed❤️
For me this is the most inspirational girl I have ever seen. Incredible strength. I am so impressed.
How sad...one of my most favorite of all times. I cpuld watch her all day. I do hope she is getting the help she deserves.
She is best!!!
She's beautiful even when she falls
YULIA! WE MISS YOU!!! YOUR FLEXIBILITY CAN'T BE MATCHED!!!
what a beautiful girl, and such a talented skater! it’s such a shame she went through the horrors of anorexia, and now we don’t see her on the rink anymore :( i wish she hadn’t had to retire so young, but i really admire all the perseverance she had while skating 💜 such an inspiration
YALL, SHE PICKS THE BEST SONGS TO DANCE TO. Impressive.
She is a true hero!
6:02 Nah, something is up with that coach. How she moved away says it all. Smh
Celeste Maria i agree, see ruclips.net/video/tmxoe2hPXpg/видео.html 5:42 and yulia’s face after that
Probably annoyed that he put her back on the ice. She’s hugged him before (2015 nationals), I don’t think she’s afraid but agitated. He shouldn’t have let her go out. She clearly didn’t want to and fell as a result.
How easy to state so serious judgements...
i thought he asked her if she wants to continue skating and she said yes?
but if he forced her then that is such a terrible thing to do ...
Cramps are really painful I’ve experienced them while sleeping and it would wake me up from the pain. It’s amazing that she continued to skate on that leg.
Julia! 💘 My favorite skater of all time!
That judge looks like she's tried every drug imaginable. At once.
?
lol

Lucy Gang 4:00
lol right? She put that eyeliner on thinking "I want to look VERY surprised! FIERCELY SURPRISED!"
That lady at 3:58 will forever haunt me in my nightmares
She looks like Sophia the AI.
seeing this makes me so sad knowing what was going down behind the scenes
What was going down behind the scenes??
@@saszy5198 she was suffering an eating disorder
Bless her, she is so light on her feet great to watch!
I think coach shouldnt have ordered her to skate through such injury. As we all know last season was terrible for her because of injuries
Or you think it was her choice to skate? Because she said in russian: i cant. But coach still made her skate...
you are wrong. It was her choice
He didn't. It was Yulia's choice to continue
Vytautė Lipeikaitė
Vytautė Lipeikaitė actually it was her choice :D
I cried when I see Yulia holding back her tears in the end 😭
so effortless, beautiful, perfect...Bless her for trying thru pain
She is so beautiful in every way. The close-ups on her face on spectacular & her skating is divine.
Bless her determined heart! 👏🏼🌸💜
Always loved watching yulia , a fantastic skater, loved her performance to schindlers list at the Olympics and thought it was the start of great things for her but sadly after her growth spurt she had problems and it took her time to regain her former strength on the ice but then had to sadly retire after falling ill with anorexia..... forever yulia 💝
Jeanette Bird really?
I have tears in my eyes. I hate Tutberitze for all the broken dreams she caused...
It’s so sad that such a young, beautiful, and talented skater had to retire because of an ED.
What’s Ed mean sir?
@@brit-3957 eating disorder
So sad that dumping Eteri couldn't prevent her from going through this and the anorexia she would battle soom after. But out of all this she emerged stronger and become a wonderful mom to a lovely daughter. The best of health and happiness to her in the future.🙏
If marks were given for effort, she would have maximum, a true warrior!!
The crowd was with her. They love her.
She is so ridiculously amazing
A little compassion goes a long way. I am glad she seems to have found some happiness.

I stumbled upon this video, but will say this girl is beautiful and should have been given a meddle for enduring the set hurting this bad! I could see the pain in her face!
She s really beautiful, good dancer and great great tecnique, my favourite still now.
My heart still breaks watching this 😢 I'm glad she's happier now.
What a beauty in movements ..gliding one with the music and ice .one can see the disappointment she feels for not being able to continue . Years of practice and hardwork
Great performance, despite the cramp and a fall!
9:27 Evgenia cheering on.♥️
I know she was injured but whoever choreographed such an awful program for her?! Shockingly bad considering her talent.
musicfan2511 sorry but she also has a say in the program it was her choice to do it and leg cramps just happen not because of injury don’t forget she had anorexia at the time so make sure u get ur facts straight
Alessia Mansouri So very true. The anorexia caused the cramp because her body was deficient in potassium and other nutrients that protect the muscle. Having a deficiency can cause both cramping and the tearing of muscle tissue which is extremely painful and takes time to heal.
@@alessiamansouri3909 anoerexia only perhaps played a role, so YOU get your facts straight. Folks get them without other causes ALL the time. DINGBAT.
@@meiraloraduncan8953 you do NOT know that to be fact. IT's only a POSSIBILITY. You know folks get them without causes right?
@@scotte8629 She was for a fact anorexic and still recovering from it as it came take years to recover. As someone who has known anorexics, the cramps they suffer are worse than what not ED people may experience because of the lack of nutrients vital for muscles to function, as in muscles need some many nutrients including Calcium and Potassium to work at levels unfathomable to the human eye.
I love you yulia ❤❤❤❤ please don t cry ❤❤❤
She is amazing, unfortunate she had to retire so early
I dont think so
sorry i ment she did really good
One of my favorite skater😍😍
Oh , and thank you Russia , for keeping your word , these are the Arts and talents you trained me well
I love Yulia and I think that she is a wonderful skater and person in every single way. I mean I didn’t even see understand the title until when she didn’t jump anymore. And I think that she could have won if she didn’t get the cramp. I mean WHY HER?!?!I miss her so much.... :(
Sharky Squad boy her health would have only gotten worse with more and more cramps starting from anorexia. This would just be ignored because she was skinny enough to keep jumping. As cruel as this sounds I’m glad this was able to happen. Long term health is so much more important then lasting like 2 or 3 more years (taking in account for Eteri’s huge skater turnover rate) in ice skating.
Inolvidable #yulia

*ES VERDAD! !*
she's so beautiful
Julia!
Don't cry beautiful young lady !!!
😍
She really deserves to be in the Sochi Olympics podium
Beautiful girl. Hope she will be doing great in the future.
