I LOVE watching you Jenny because you’re all about having fun while quilting and I think that’s so important. You’re all about no fuss and making it fun 😍
Awesome quilt! You could use that pattern for every season or holiday by just changing the seasonal or holiday fabrics and the shapes. A Christmas one with trees, an Apple or sunflower one for late summer, an Easter one with bunnies, a winter one with snowflakes or a Thanksgiving one with turkeys would be cool. Love it.
Omg. Love this quilt. It is a real beauty. That would be a pretty table runner also. I really really love this pattern. Wow. Great video. Thank you Jenny
This cute, versatile pattern is eye-catching. I usually don’t like little pieces but this is so doable. I can’t wait to make something with it. I’m thinking a Thanksgiving table runner to start with. Thanks to everyone at MSQ for making sewing/guilting accessible to everyone.
Awesome idea, Jenny! I can think of so many possibilities for this one since you could put any block in between. It could be Christmasy or a baby quilt, or Easter themed, etc. Thanks a bunch for such an innovative idea!!
That's what I was wondering too. I looked on their website & saw an item ("HeatnBond Lite Iron Adhesive, I think item #FBY8086) that had the box, so I ordered it. But it didn't come in the box. I tried looking on the rest of their website & couldn't find it (altho it may be there). So if u find out, pls let me know😁
I love this - so refreshing to see someone actually doing something freehand and enjoying and accepting it. All this exact this and that, every minuscule seam, etc. so tiresome. I like my quilts to look nice and be neat, pristine and correct, but i do tire of all the “rules”. I love this Jenny, great job!
Love this tutorial!!! So free to make the pumpkins (or whatever we choose) our own- yet other die cut shapes would work for those not comfy with freehand.
Wow!! I love this quilt ! I want to see a Christmas version of this quilt Jenny. Maybe you could get the girls to do a version of a Christmas one with you on triple play day.😀♥️😀♥️

I have almost everything needed in my basket right now!!! It’s hard to find Halloween fabrics (that I like) around where I live so they are on my list of what to look for when I travel along with so,e low volume backgrounds and of course batiks and brights!!! Thank you for any other super great video.
My sister gave me a package of orange fat quarters. Not Hallowe'en prints, but a great addition to a quilt like this one, where you don't need all fancy prints, only the right colors. I buy the colors I'm looking for, and then, when I find some good Hallowe'en fabric, that goes in the larger pieces or borders, to make it into an obviously "Hallowe'en" quilt. I live in a tiny village, and have to travel for my fabric. I grab it when I see it.
What a fun quilt. I can see all kinds of different possibilities for what to put in between the stargazer blocks. Different colors for different themes. Hmmm. (And the music on this video was fun, too.). Thank you.
The quilt you have made is beautiful! I wish I had more time right now to get ready for Halloween, so maybe you will put in Block and I can make it later!
Jenny, what about cutting your first print strip at 3" to get 6 HSTs? This would give you 21 extra HSTs which would be 5 extra blocks + 1 extra HST. Though to make them as you did, I would draw a second stitch line 1/2" away from the center line to make flying geese units from the scraps.
The nice thing is the versatility, you could use this with hearts for Valentine's day, a wedding, anniversary; or various Christmas ornaments, trees, candy canes, ornament, Etc; or for fall you could have a pumpkin acorns leaves etc. The thing that makes it Halloween is the fabric but pumpkins for Thanksgiving would be beautiful
OOOOooooo make it Christmas-y and have stockings or Santa hats...trees...or ornaments... anything Christmas.. Great pattern. :)
I had the same thought!
Great idea
😍 love it
I agree!
I just finish this quilt yesterday. This was great fun block which I will do again.
Oooohhhh! Valentines! Hearts appliquéd….I love this quilt!
I have really loved the festive holiday music 🎶 lol 🎃
And of course live to watch every Friday with my coffee and inspiration 🍂🍁🍂
I used this as inspiration for a fall quilt that had pumpkins and leaves - and oh I just love it and look forward to taking it out every fall.
Happy fourteenth birthday…….so sorry I couldn’t make it out to Missouri this year….. have a great celebration 🎉🎉🎊🍾

Lovely, this would make a spring quilt with birds and flowers instead of pumkins. A new pattern on my to-do list.
That's a great idea!

Such a clever design!
I love this! I just finished the Jack quilt from last year and now have this on my list for the coming year. So fun! We need a Christmas version!
That would be so fun! Little presents, ornaments, or even snow men. Great time to experiment with appliqué or even embroidery!
Yes, with Christmas trees!
That's a great idea! You could mix it up with Christmas.... a package, a tree, santa, a Christmas star, ornament.

"Whatever makes your heart happy." Great motto
Love it!
We don't really do Halloween in the UK but I love the chain block.
With pumpkins in fall fabrics (not Halloween) could be used for months.
Just beautiful
“If it makes your heart happy”….that’s how I feel when I’m sewing patchwork ….
