27. QURAN CHALLENGE [PART II: See One Message Foundation for PART I] [15:30] Mushrikeen claim Rasulullah ﷺ wrote the Quran The smear campaign goes to another level. They started saying that he Rasulullah ﷺ wrote the Quran. Of course that's not physically possible as Rasulullah ﷺ was illiterate, unlettered, couldn't read or write and the Quraysh knew that. This is not an insult but that IS the miracle. If he ﷺ was a famous poet then the mushrikeen could've made that excuse but Allah chose somebody who was honest, and well known for his good character so they couldn't use that excuse. Allah chose somebody who couldn't read or write, who was not a poet, never wrote poetry, so they couldn't make that excuse. So what did they do? They said that somebody else is writing it and this is something we hear today as well. This is not logically possible because why would someone let anyone else take the credit for an amazing work they did themselves. [17:23] Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى challenges kuffar to bring something like the Quran Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى sent them a challenge till the Day of Judgement to prove their claim. What was the challenge? In Surah Baqara Allah says to bring something like it (the Quran). That okay, if you think someone else is writing for him ﷺ then you have someone write it for you. We see the same thing today when non-believers instead of being able to answer the contradictions found in the Bible start to claim that the Quran has contradictions but when they're asked to show even one such thing, they are unable to find it. Similarly the mushrikeen of Makkah were unable to bring anything like the Quran. Then Allah in Surah Hud said, okay bring 10 chapters like it (11:13). They again couldn't bring it. This is the miracle of the Quran that we don't think about much. Imagine the linguists they had, the poets they had, the people who used to write 30, 40 thousand line poems from memory but they couldn't do it. The Prophet ﷺ isn't a poet, so he's no match with them in poetry. But this is THE miracle that this is not between the Prophet ﷺ and a poet, but this is the words of Allah and khalif to it nothing can stand. So all these famous poets, all of them being recruited couldn't write one book like it, not even 10 chapters. Till today, 1400 years more than that, till today there's nobody that's answered that challenge. Recently #700club took a number of Arab Christian professors together and set out to write a "Furqan", then even tried to make it sound like the Quran. There was fundraising done and money was collected, all these people were getting paid top dollars and what happened? In the end they couldn't do it. They took top ahadith, took some poetry and tried to put them together. They said that when they tried to make it sound good, then they couldn't put the rulings in it and when they put the rulings in it, they couldn't make it sound like the Quran. So they gave up. [20:41] Quraysh recruit Nadr Ibn Al-Harith When they were unable to do that, they took a guy name Nadr Ibn Al-Harith who was a well traveled man, a mushrik. He went through Persia, went to what was under the Roman empire at the time and he was a literate. He had collected a lot of the writings together and he knew a lot of people who were Christians and Jews, he knew a lot of their stories, he knew a lot of the Arabian tales that were folklore. So they went to him and said that we want you to head a panel of people to respond to the Quran. He told them that he couldn't because it was too good, that no man can write like this. But said we will put against it stories, stories that I have heard from the Persians, from the people in Shaam etc, and we will get stories from the Arabian. But then they said it wouldn't work because those stories are man-made. So next they said they will put music with it. This is the trick of shaytaan. [22:38] Diseases in the ummah today are similar to those of the past Don't study the seerah for the past, but study it for the present. Same things happen today. The way of the kuffar is always to use entertainment against the Haqq (truth). Next because music wasn't enough, they thought of bringing dancing women who will serve alcohol while Nadr would tell stories. So in a nut shell, with the stories they would have women dancing out the stuff and serving alcohol to young men and that was their da'wah. Look at today, if you go to most churches, what do you see? You see singing, dancing, men and women intermixing, church dance events, Halloween day which is a pagan devil worshipping holiday and no Christian should be celebrating this, then why do certain churches celebrate this? Because they are not about the truth but they just want to bring people. It's the same shirk remodeled. Astakhfirullah even some mosques are doing this nowadays. There was a mosque in San Diego California which celebrated #Halaloween recently. Which #Mawlid gathering did you last go to (hopefully you did not because celebrating birthdays is not an Islamic tradition) and saw people sitting and reading the Quran and sunnah. It is all the same with the singing and dancing, and food and sweets. Even good Muslims get trapped by this where they have nasheeds playing with shirk in them, without thinking of what they're saying. Look at most, not all, but most of the sufi dhikr circles where many just dance, some even breakdancing Na'audhubillah (we seek refuge in Allah). It's entertainment to misguide people. Look at most of the conferences of Ikhwan, all of them have music like doing dabka is going to liberate Palestine Na'audhubillah. You want the nusrah (support) of Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى? Go back to the way of the sahaba, the salaf of this ummah.
[40:11] Allah الزواجل responds to the offer Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى responded to the offer given to Rasulullah ﷺ by the Quraysh. So what was the response? قُلْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ لَآ أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ (Surah Al-Kafirun 109). Allah hu Akbar, what a response, set till the Day of Judgement. [40:45] Meaning of Surah Al-Kafirun What's interesting is that you see repetitions in these ayat. If you look at the Hadith, they said we will worship what you worship, then you worship what we worship. So Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى responded to what they had presented to Rasulullah ﷺ with these ayat. Such a beautiful thing! قُلْ يَـٰٓأَيُّهَا ٱلْكَـٰفِرُونَ - "Say to those who are disbelievers." Notice that Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى directly addresses the believers in the Quran, He directly addresses the whole of humanity but Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى never directly addresses the kuffar in the Quran, they don't have that honor. Instead Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى says قُلْ meaning you ﷺ say this to kuffar. لَآ أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ: I do not worship that which you worship. وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ: And you do not worship that which I worship. وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ: I will never worship what you worship. وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ: Nor will your ever worship what I worship. لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ: You've your way, I have my way. [42:02] Muslims are forbidden to participate in rituals celebrating shirk There is so much depth in the repetition of the verses here which we won't discuss here but this surah has made it clear as day that we can't lock arms with priestesses, we can not involve ourselves in passing candles, we can not have crosses drawn on our forehead, we can not participate in these things (all of this is referring to a well known Imam in Texas who did this). We will never, can never do this as Allah has forbidden it. We can never participate in a religious ritual of another religion. No diwali etc. We can not congratulate people on their kuffar, meaning we can not wish people Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah. Why? Because that is participating. And congratulating on what? Shirk? Rather, "to them is their religion and to us is ours", we never mix. Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى has made it very clear. A narration by Ibn Abbas RA in Tafsir Al-Thalabi in the 10th volume, page #315 says, "There is no surah in the Quran that is greater in that it frustrates Iblis (satan) more than this Surah." Why? "Because in it, there is tawheed and we are free from and distance ourselves from shirk." These tricks of Shaytaan are present till today and you see that in our "leaders" and our "imams" when they talk about how all religions merge and how all paths are equal and no body has the exclusive truth.
As salamu alaykun sheikh. Please help to be the means of guidance to my country. Many imams in my country made amulets of all kinds for people and people are going to graves to seek help. I have started learning how read the quran. Imagine how many people will due in such conditions before I'm able to give them dawah. My request to you is to please help me and recommend aquidah book to buy for them. Maybe if they themselves read it may be a guidance for them.

I think the correct pronunciation of Abu Dhar's tribe is Ghifaar (with a kasrah on the letter Ghayn). Wassalam.

Instead Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى says قُلْ meaning you ﷺ say this to kuffar. لَآ أَعْبُدُ مَا تَعْبُدُونَ: I do not worship that which you worship. وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ: And you do not worship that which I worship. وَلَآ أَنَا۠ عَابِدٌ مَّا عَبَدتُّمْ: I will never worship what you worship. وَلَآ أَنتُمْ عَـٰبِدُونَ مَآ أَعْبُدُ: Nor will your ever worship what I worship. لَكُمْ دِينُكُمْ وَلِىَ دِينِ: You've your way, I have my way.

There is so much depth in the repetition of the verses here which we won't discuss here but this surah has made it clear as day that we can't lock arms with priestesses, we can not involve ourselves in passing candles, we can not have crosses drawn on our forehead, we can not participate in these things (all of this is referring to a well known Imam in Texas who did this). We will never, can never do this as Allah has forbidden it. We can never participate in a religious ritual of another religion. No diwali etc. We can not congratulate people on their kuffar, meaning we can not wish people Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkah. Why? Because that is participating. And congratulating on what? Shirk? Rather, "to them is their religion and to us is ours", we never mix. Allah سُبْحَانَهُ وَتَعَالَى has made it very clear. A narration by Ibn Abbas RA in Tafsir Al-Thalabi in the 10th volume, page #315 says, "There is no surah in the Quran that is greater in that it frustrates Iblis (satan) more than this Surah." Why? "Because in it, there is tawheed and we are free from and distance ourselves from shirk." These tricks of Shaytaan are present till today and you see that in our "leaders" and our "imams" when they talk about how all religions merge and how all paths are equal and no body has the exclusive truth.
As salamu alaykun sheikh. Please help to be the means of guidance to my country. Many imams in my country made amulets of all kinds for people and people are going to graves to seek help. I have started learning how read the quran. Imagine how many people will due in such conditions before I'm able to give them dawah. My request to you is to please help me and recommend aquidah book to buy for them. Maybe if they themselves read it may be a guidance for them.

as Salaam alaikum I have a question, there are speakers and imams(like one in this city) who say that because there are no islamic countries or muslim countries that practice shariah that moving to a muslim country or any country is just a matter of choice and that all the vices you find here you find in the muslim countries hijrah what is ruling on hijrah with the proofs or has hijra been nullified due to current conditions as some would have us believe
