Thank you! Yes, you are right, dashing is not necessary at all. In fact, arena is not necessary either. But you really need to practice the pattern and optimize your positioning until you reach your desired level of confidence.

I wanted to test all progression bows, so it was Marrow, Ice, Shadowflame, then Beating one of the mechs to unlock OOA Tier 2 and get the Phoenix Phantom Bow. It was really fun using it for a while. But then I got a bit anxious to advance and beaten Duke to get the Tsunami. Then used it to beat Plantera and EoL to get the Eventide. Then Pillars and Phantasm. Basically that's it. Except that the bees map was getting very annoying, so in the end I grabbed the Snowman Cannon and destroyed the world :)

Phase 2 is hilarious from all the guide I have watch none dodge the sun dance part they just out speed them. Phase 2 is just ridiculous a difficulty spike.
No need to, this video is done in the getfixedboi seed on legendary difficulty. The world is destroyed at the end of the playthough, to rebuild it later into something nicer looking. On classic/expert/master, she can be beaten without arena using pre Golem gear. Similar movement pattern, just less forgiving.
Actually, I bet you will very soon! There are several good cheese strategies that work fine. All you need is a long asphalt road (1-2k tiles) and homing weapons such as typhoon, snowman cannon, chloro bullets. Even pure summoner can do it. If you want to beat her using a summoner load-out, I suggest spooky armor, max minions, and use Xeno staff as the ufos have perfect aim and deal tons of damage to her. Since this is a oneshot simulator, roll all your gear into menacing, use wrath potion and food buff, get max possible dps and try to beat her quickly. This way you may only need 1-2 pattern cycles, which is doable after several tries.

Summoner - you just use Sanguine bats or desert tiger and a whip. For whip I’d alternate between firecracker and Morningstar or Kaleidoscope if you already fought her at night.
So, i basically have: Legendary kaleidoscope, ruthlesss xeno staff, pygmy neackle, sit of hallowed armour, empress wings, frostspark boots, master ninja gear and Hercules beatle. And somehow i can get her on 10k hp, but then i slain by ethereal lance

It should work but teleporting needs perfect timing.
How do u get the prismatic lacewings on legendary mode?
In the caverns. Cavern act like surface and spawn surface mobs. Make a hallow biome there and lacewings will spawn.

how do you build such a huge arena in game? is it cheated or you actually dug it all up and built all the walls?
All legit, took several hours. No digging though, used snowman cannon and mininukes to blow up 80% of the map. Then made the arena.
I have this theory, so when you lower the empress's health in night time then kills her at daytime does it atill drops the terraprisma?
No, it won't work. Terraprisma drops only if the entire fight is 100% done during daytime.

I’ve just done it again and it worked the exact same way. Nothing has changed. Check your gear and buffs.
