My girlfriend shares this aong with me before we were dating, and i didn't quite get it lol. Suffice to say, i get it now 😅
What is this song really about? Is it about being used? Removing emotions from physical intimacy? It’s confusing.
From what I've seen in context with the whole album and from what I've seen from interviews, I assume the song is about Jordan doing self destructive things in the midst of coping with her break up (seeking comfort in sex, drugs, and alcohol) but the addition of a duet makes the song more about two hurting people finding comfort in each other's intimacy/bodies since the song was based off of her actual experiences post-break up and the person she was hooking up with was also fresh from a break up. That's just from what I've gathered from what Jordan herself has said lol
