This old man has seen many bands from many genres of music. Ive seen the advent of mtv;ive been on stage with music legends,but I've never seen a group of musicians with the depth of talent and charisma than the beaches!!

Tim, I would have said the same thing. Started playing in the early ‘80s in the Southeast alongside bands like REM and B-52s. U2 wishes they were this good. Such depth! This other old man agrees with you!
This is the only song that has a modern country sound, and yet it’s one of the best on the album
Heard this song when they played in London this week. It was probably one of the best live acoustic songs I've heard in years. It was such an amazing concert overall!
The accoustic guitar and backing vocals give this song a bit of a country vibe.
Taylor Swift could have wrote and sang this one and it would have been an instant hit. That's how great this song is

Their ability to write blissfully silly pop songs like I'll Grow Up Tomorrow one day then serious heartfelt earworms like this the next day tells me they will be around as long as bands like Blue Rodeo and Sloan. Sometimes it takes longer than it should, but cream rises to the top eventually.
This and "Shower Beer" are the best songs on this absolutely amazing album I've been waiting ten years for!! They finally got a production team to match their immense talent because this album sounds utterly fantastic!
I don't know if it's intentional but it's like the band plays sunsets😭. And it's super fucking rad!
Love this song, best on the album imho. As mentioned by others, it has a country vibe, it kind of reminds me of Brandi Carlile/Highwomen.
