What a way to start the new living arrangements, by camping the first weekend. Such a beautiful place. Amazed at the way Jasper settles in. Does he stay inside when you are camping? Nooo, not school!!
Yes he stays in unless we feel like it’s ok for him to go out. But in his old age we keep him in and take him out on a leash 🩵

I would love to know more about camping on blm land ! How do you power your rv ? What about using the bathroom and washing dishes and what not !
If we are dry camping (no hookups) then we use the generator for power just when we need power to charge phones, watch a movie at night, run the air fryer, etc. For water we fill up our fresh water holding tank to be able to flush the toilet, use the sinks and showers.
Looks like a blast with good friends and fam! The scenery looked amazing!

Wow looked really nice, when my kids were younger we use to go camping but ruffed it in a tent with sleeping bags. A camper I would have loved. You know how to live.
We tent camped until 2019 when we got our first trailer 😋

Great video... looked like alot of fun. Berkley can hold her own with the boys. You have some good ball players in the family. Do you run up on snakes very off? Does cash get ticks? That and mosquito i dont like. Lol can't wait to more.
We don’t see a whole lot of snakes where we live and no real tick problem either. I know it’s a lot different in the south and other places tho!
It looked like there was still a For Sale sign at your house when you were leaving for your camping trip. Hopefully nothing happened with the sale. I'd love to see the campground where you're staying for the next few weeks.
We closed on the house after Memorial Day so the sign stays up until closing day.

How does dry camping work?
Potty in the woods?
Nope! We can use our bathroom and sinks. Before dry camping you fill your fresh water tank full. As you use it it empties into the gray (sink & shower) holding tank and black (toilet) holding tank then whenever you leave from camping you stop at a dump station and dump / rinse your black and gray tanks.
When dry camping you’re limited to using your water you have in your holding tank so you just have to be mindful of how much you use.

Love that you guys are traveling again. I wasnt a follower yet last time so im excited to follow along this time. We just had our 3rd baby, oldest is 4 so were in the tiny stage but hoping one day to be able to travel too. Just 1 question how do you have health insurance as a youtuber? Private insurance is so expensive.

So, did Berkley learn to ride without training wheels super fast? Looks like she did a great job!
She did not! It was way too rocky and bumpy. She sure did try though. She can ride her bike without training wheels but a dirt bike is so heavy so it was a lot harder. We will try again on some flat ground to get the hang of it 😋

How do you travel with your dog in the summer months? We put our dog in the kennel in the truck bed like you guys do. But idk what to do for the summer? If we are traveling a long distance.
We move early in the morning and not mid day when it’s too hot out. If we have to travel when it’s too warm for him he will lay on the floor in the back seat but it’s rare we have to do that. His kennel is canvas too so it keeps the sun off him

You should install curtains in the bunks so the kiddos can take alone time if they want it or have additional privacy. The bunks could be like their own little “rooms”. I’d love to see you DIY it. You’re so creative!
I have asked them and they don’t want curtains on their beds 😋

We have a generator. We only run it when we need to use the air fryer or something that it’s plugged in or if the kids want to watch a movie at bed time 😊

We don’t want anything to happen to him so we keep him in, however we do have a harness and leash for him to take him out at some places 🩵

Can you explain the process of how you finding places to rent 6 months in advance? Do you stay in 1 place for several months, is it costly? Just want to know realistically if it could work for us?
We are staying in each place a few days to a couple of weeks. Rv parks usually have weekly and monthly rates but we aren’t staying for months on end in one place. Every park / campground is priced different. We also purchased a thousand trails membership (1 year) so anytime we’re at a thousand trails park we don’t pay a nightly fee.
Also wanted to add we use the Campendium app to find the places we stay and read reviews etc. most places allow you to make reservations online or over the phone.

Are you selling your car this time or storing it? I remember last time you bought a small one when y'all got back for school runs until you got your house. I know it's a random question but so many ppl are attached to their things and would be like "i couldn't do that bc of my car/house/books/plants etc" and you always find a way! I really do want to do cannot life full time but i haven't found one that's affordable anywhere near me. We are talking like 10k for campers that are needing work and don't even have the separate sleep area. I'm Canadian, i need to know things like the propane heating is not only intact but is safe! Spending multiple k on a smaller camper (it's me and my 30lb dog) seems ridiculous. I'm not scared of the cosmetic stuff but i need the actual meat and potatoes of it to be in good shape. Camper sized fridges, stoves, heaters etc are expensive af to replace esp if you're buying with the assumption things are working! I would love a space that has a bed that doesn't need to be made or unmade daily, like a dedicated real mattress, but i know i could easily convert the old style wrap around bench couches into a dedicated sleep area and use the table as a place to sit and work when inside. So just looking for function and a place for a mattress really! The obvious goal is to not be inside unless the weather says so! 🤷🏼♀️

Goulash recipe?? Anyone else lol
One box elbow macaroni noodles cooked and drained. One lb ground beef cooked. Add mushrooms to ground beef half way through to get them warmed up / cooked down. Combine ground beef, mushrooms and noodles and add in two jars of your fav pasta sauce and one can of drained corn. Stir it all up until it’s warm and that’s it!
