That's the best and most memorable race for me. I took the time off from work and celebrated the victory at Cbar after Champs, That's how much I love those guys.
Holmwood and CBAR in their winning days brought Fire to Champs. CBAR definitely had some of the most memorable moments at Champs. All comes come with their Hay game it seems when CBAR top Champs.
Another epic race brethren. Ackeem Bloomfield was in Top form but Christopher Taylor (Younger) was in Top form for his specific class. That 4x4 relay leg was a sure win. Just look at the line up. Respect

Great memories! but you have to include the 1979 400m class 1 clash between I. Stapleton of K.C and Bert Cameron of Jago. That one still gives me goose bumps just thinking about it.
I agree he should get some vintage clashes but some of them will be hard to get on video because of the little technology that was around to capture these moments back then.....
Honestly because even for some of these races I had to source from athletes directly they were nowhere on RUclips , plus I’m a young bud , so some of those 70s races never even crossed my mind but I’ll try my best to incorporate some stuff

As a Bloomfield myself and use to do track I was so upset with akeem he shouldn't pass Taylor he should just stayed next to him till the last 100 meters🔥

Good vid sir. That relay with Bloomfield vs Taylor had a lot of ppl fooled it seems but the winner was obvious from the start of the final leg. There was no way Bloomfield was ever going to win that based on the lead CT got on the exchange. I know CT knew it as well, as soon as he got that baton he told himself just stay calm its yours to lose; the only way Bloomfield manages a close race here is if he pushes early and hopes for a miracle on the home stretch.
Bloomfield ran a great leg , the gap was large and Taylor is no scrub I think that’s a great perspective tho because everyone knows how relays turned donkey man in a different animal
Akeem Bloomfield ran a surprisingly stupid leg. Had he been more strategic and remained dangerously behind but close to Christopher Taylor, KC would have won the race. Taylor could not have won an energized Bloomfield.
