- The world of model railroading allows for many possibilities - making your own miniature universe or recreating a piece of history. In the case of Bob Halliday, his layout is dedicated to a railroad from his childhood - The Central Railroad of New Jersey!
In this program, we'll watch a parade of freight and passenger trains roam around this beautiful layout. You'll see such sights as the famous "Blue Comet", a pair of Tangerine and Blue F-Units on a freight train, a "Camelback" on a local passenger service and even a little trolley running through the city center!
More videos of Bob's layout will be coming to the channel in the near future! Features will include the construction/origin of the layout and future model-building projects, one of which is previewed at the end of this video...
Enjoy the show and thanks for watching! Наука
This is such a nostalgia trip for me! I watched old RUclips videos of postwar equipment running on this layout as a kid. I would watch all the switching and mainline work and start scribbling out layout designs so I could do the same.
Wow epic model train set buddy 😊👍
This is one of the best collections I've ever seen!
Awesome video friend! Love the premier blue comet with ps1!
Thanks! I've got another video planned with Bob on a special project he's working on... a preview of it is seen before the credits.
Cool
I remember when you had all postwar trains running on this layout.
Nice
Looks very nice my man! While I may be an HO person, O scale has a charm to it ;)
This is quite the impressive o gauge collection he has.
That a really nice layout he’s got! Just curious, has he seen CNJ 113 run?
