  • Traveling with Autism is incredibly stressful which is why I usually prefer to drive in the comfort of my own car. In this video, we take the train to Waterloo and then catch a bus into central London where we stop over at a Premier inn for the night and prepare for our 4-day break in the coming week. Hi again. I'm curious. For someone with an ASD how did you handle traveling and being I crowded trains and buses when you were younger?I had struggled with them for a lot of my life as I've gotten older it's become easier for me. I like that you have headphones they help me a lot with high sensory settings. I really enjoy the vlogs and seeing how someone lives life with autism. I love the conversation with the rider. I used to avoid conversations with new people but I learned to like them and getting to know new people.

Hi 😊 I didn’t know I had ASD at the time but I would get very overwhelmed on public transport and I normally handled it by making myself as small as possible so no one would talk to me or even know I was there 😅 I tried to make myself as invisible and get through the journey as quickly as I could, but it would take a lot of energy out of me. It was always easier with someone with me but I don’t think I could do it alone, even now.
