- With our first snowfall of the year coming early, I decided it was time to take the T-Dub for a rip. It did quite well, but I think it is time for a tire swap.

Man, that takes me back. I got my motorcycle license during an early December snowstorm, on a Honda TL125. The inspector thought I was nuts, but gave me a passing grade! Of course, that was Ontario, Canada in the early 1970's. These days, they'd probably fail you just for showing up when there was snow on the ground...
BTW, anyone wanting to get into snow riding should start with a set of folding brake and shift levers, plus a set of bark busters. Skateboard pads are a good idea too, if you can't afford MX protective gear. You're inevitably going to go down at least once in a while, and a bit of prep can take the sting (and the financial hit) out of a fall.
Hand guards are a must have soon
You be breathing hella hard
Snow riding on a dirt bike is surprisingly good exercise, especially when you're still figuring out how that particular bike/tire combination behaves in the soft stuff. Lots of dabbing and last-minute saves.
Man I wish we would of got that. We only got hit by rain
