Αν και είμαι οπαδός των πρώτων εκτελέσεων, η Μοσχολιού στα λίγα που τραγούδησε σε δεύτερη εκτέλεση, όπως αυτό, τα κάνει δικά της. Γιατί έχει το κάτι άλλο στον τρόπο που ερμηνεύει τα τραγούδια.
Μου αρεσει αυτη η εκτελεση περισσοτερο απο ολες τις αλλες ...

Βάζεις και τις εικόνες από την καταστροφή της Σμύρνης (η μισή καταγωγή μου) και μας «στέλνεις».
(Μια μικρή φιλική παρατήρηση, το βίντεο της μοναδικής Μοσχολιού, από κοσμικό κέντρο, δεν δένει πολύ με το υπόλοιπο, θα προτιμούσα να είχες μερικές ασπρόμαυρες φωτογραφίες της)

These are snapshots from the war between Greeks and Turks (in the aftermath of WW I), and the arrival of Kemal Ataturk's army at Izmir / Smyrna (1922) that the Greeks named the Destruction of Smyrna. The only to benefit from the situation were France and England, the evil colonial powers that applied their customary policy of Divide et Impera.
My grandfather was there; although captive of Turkish soldiers for 3 years, he always accused England for the Destruction of Smyrna, not the Turks!

+emre yilmaz My friend Emre my country is called Ellada and in English Hellas we are Hellenes always were and always will be even if there is just one of us left...the Romans called us Greco that is where the name Greeks is derived from and today is still used as Greeks and my country is known as Greece worldwide but Hellas is the correct name for us. Yunanistan means "land of the Ioanians" (Hellenes), this term was used by Persians and then was spread in Turkey,Western Europeans used the term Greeks, the Jews used the term Yavanim (Hebrew) and the Persians and the Turks used the term Yunans (the latter two mean Ionians).

My dearest Anna ,of course I know how Greece is called.Calling Greece as Yunanistan was meant as an ironic joke refering to the horrible blunders the Greek government has commiitted during the Big Catastrophe which this beautiul song's theme is all about.The Wisdom of Greece was simply not there. They acted as if they were the rulers of Yunanistan and not Ellada.This is what I meant.I am very sorry if my joke has caused an offence.
