I work for goodwill, they’re pissed about the content. We go through every single donation clean it up, make sure it’s in good condition, and also make sure that it’s appropriate to be displayed for everyone to see. Goodwill supports its community, so anyone from the age of 0-100 come into our stores to shop. I personally think Robs pictures are hilarious, but if a child or an elderly person, or just anyone who didn’t find it funny saw it on the sales floor they could call in a complaint. And for a store that is solely supported by its customers willingness to give their own goods away for free so that we can be profitable for our community, any kind of controversial stuff is not welcomed honestly. It’s a little bogus but it makes sense

Renee LaPlume well if you put the puzzle together first and tapping the back so it doesn’t fall apart then you paint the puzzle with what you want then take a picture of the puzzle and glue it inside the box and then you have done it

As an employee of goodwill, I SUPPORT YOU!! But yea, goodwill does not likes theses types of things because it counted as product manipulation, and its because it doesn't go through the back production process. There's this rule if you get a donation that it has to be processed before customers get it. Also of course its not goodwill approved because goodwill its a stickler about rules. :D The more you know !!
i get the "back production process" part. That was the first thing that came to mind when he said goodwill is on to him XD, but product manipulation? Is goodwill a religious charity? I know the church run thrift stores are really strict about what objects can go to the front. When I volunteered at one they would give me all the music or items that weren’t “up to their standards” otherwise it was thrown in the garbage.

I don't understand why they are pissed. They sell the item. They get an improved item back, then sell them a second time from all the advertising from the video.
I think the thrift store corporate folk need to lighten up and even invite other artists to do the same. Make a thing about it. Show how stuff from Goodwill can be upcycled. Make crafters, artists, makers all aware that goodwill might have stuff they could use.

The child lost her balance and tumbled down the staircase to her death. It is said that her ghost haunts that portrait of the little girl in the “Love Letters” painting by Richard Kings. The girl in the painting isn’t Samantha herself but her spirit held on to the painting. People who get near the painting have a feeling of nausea and headaches, there is also reports of feelings of levitation and seeing the paintings facial expressions change. Fun facts lol I’m a horror freak from Texas!

Welp robs house is now haunted....that painting of the little girl is called love letters, n it’s believed it’s connected to Samantha Houston the daughter of a u.s. senator who died when she fell down a flight of stairs. As a tribute the owner of the hotel where she died commissioned a painting of Samantha. However it’s not an actual portrait but many ppl have reported strange things that began when they got the replica based on a Robert king work entitled “love letters’ by Charles Trevor garland (1855-1906). It’s a very popular replicated painting though, and it doesn’t stop the hype around it, and you most often will see it in “most haunted images” videos scattered everywhere. Hopefully if you hear the giggles of a ghostly child Corrine won’t make use of Christines coffin and you disappear 😆

Yep technically the “haunted” one is in the hotel in Austin(as it’s believed the little girl has taken to haunting that particular painting and she passed away there, not anywhere else) but a few ppl who have the replicas in there own homes have also reported strange occurrences around the piece, and some have given there’s away others have burned it, some have even created there own videos around there “haunted” replicas.
