Skipping in a field isn’t the same as breaking ice. Ryland did say that animals might walk on that and if Shane breaks the ice an animal could fall in. He would feel so bad if an animal got hurt or died falling into the hole he made. They have so much wildlife that wanders through that area.
That tells you exactly who Shane is. Anyone who cries over the beauty of fresh snow or seeing snow falling in the street lights is a deep, tender, good soul. 💖
I know shane mentioned its tiring to edit but every time you post a vlog it truly makes my heart happy. Seeing the love, mutual respect and family time is just everything! I lost my mom to cancer this year and this is the first christmas without her. Im generally grateful for your content and sharing these moments with us! It means more then you know ❤

Seeing you guys so happy gives me second hand happiness. Like, Shane talking about how this is all he’s ever wanted growing up, I cried. I’ve always had crappy holidays due to toxic family or just how I felt super alone around this time of year in general and I’m 22. I hope 5 years from now I can have my own Christmas, in my own apartment, with my own friends and hopefully someone special. Plus, you don’t have to invite anyone who brings you down, into your home. Even if that is a family member!
You are an adult now, so you can choose to surround yourself only with people who make you happy. People who are positive. And those who make you feel good about yourself and your life.
You get to choose.
I really hope you are able to find some happiness this Christmas.
Do you have a good friend who you can go somewhere Christmas-y with?! So, even if you can’t have a happy Christmas at home, maybe you could go somewhere else that will make you feel some Christmas cheer.
Like maybe there are Christmas markets near you? Or, some museums or town councils put on special Christmas lights that you can either walk through or drive through.
I have seen some amazing lights on other RUclipsrs vlogs who live in America. I wish we had something like that here, where I live in Australia! But we don’t seem to do Christmas anywhere near as fun as you guys in the states do!
I’m really quite jealous of all of the different Christmas things that I have seen available to you guys, it seems to be pretty much anywhere you go in the US. I wish we had that!
Some year, I think I might have to try and spend a Christmas over there, just so that I can experience it for myself!

I just wanna say this. Y'all's videos have been really the only cheerful thing for me this for Christmas. This entire year has been horrible for me, and my family. We got Covid in my house, and it literally almost killed me, and my Mom. Both of us were in the hospital. My Grandma passed away in May, and less then a couple months my Daddy passed away in September. Exactly one week away from my birthday. Then my Grandpa has been in and out of the hospital, and is currently in ICU right now. Not sure if he is gonna make it to Christmas this year. The holidays have not been the holidays at all this year. We basically skipped Thanksgiving. So I enjoy these videos, because for a short time I can forget about everything horrible, and feel happy for a bit.

My tree is full of all kinds of ornaments some tacky some classic.A stuffed piglet baby toy that my daughter stuck in the tree when she was little. She's 20 now and it's been part of the tree for 17 years now. My house is decorated with what makes me happy.
There is nothing like seeing a couple smiling, laughing and having fun when you know there was a time when huge support, love, and I dare say patience, was needed for so long. Count your blessings guys, not many people get that kind of connection. It makes my heart smile to see you both so happy x

I love how happy Shane and Ryland are in their new home. I can't get over it. ❤
The "tacky" Christmas tree was my Christmas tree every year growing up. The ornaments were all homemade (mostly my school art projects) or stuff we found at like farmer's markets and local shops. It was also always a real tree with rainbow lights.
Ryland's vlogs truly make my day. Whenever I am low and need a smile on my face I just go back to his vlogs.
I just genuinely love you guys. I have been following Shane since forever. I feel like a proud mother here.
