You're right, that being said, there is also a nice garden in the backyard and the house is quite large. I think I'll go back there as it's just 400m away from the LEGGETT head office, and we'll probably show the lovely bedrooms as well. I wonder how they fared through the pandemic. My hope is to get a B&B running in Fance but not rely on income from the property. Perhaps have any property income go towards rates and other bills. Any extra is a bonus. I think too many got caught out with massive mortgages too heavily dependant on the gites etc income then the pandemic hit and they had to sell.

At the end of the day, it all comes down to having the necessary resources available to buy a property overseas.

As this house is not for sale, we chose to respect the privacy of the new owners and simply interview them in their living room. ;)
