The Detroit Pistons defeated the Sacramento Kings, 133-120. Jaden Ivey led the Pistons with a career-high 37 points, along with 6 rebounds and 7 assists as Jalen Duren (20 points, 15 rebounds, 6 assists) and Alex Burks (25 points, 7 rebounds) totaled 45 points. Domantas Sabonis led the Kings with his 33rd consecutive double double as he compiled 30 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists as Malik Monk added 23 points, 5 rebounds, and 10 assists.
The Pistons move to 7-43 as the Kings fall to 29-21.
Jalen Duren totaled the sixth 20-point, 15-rebound game of his career. He now has the most 20pt-15reb games for a player 20 years of age or younger in Detroit franchise history, passing Andre Drummond (5 games).

@@jamesonedwardsii4943that would be reasonable but look at usage rates. Iveys when Cade is on court is extremely low, and falls off a cliff in the second half. So far Ivey averages around 2-3 shots in the fourth quarter while the other starters are in, Cade and bojan average around 7 each. Ivey does not get the ball if Cade is on the court. So Ivey is most definitely being held back a lot. Even with cade in the last 10 games he’s averaging 19 pts but it would be higher without the benching and minute slashing in the first half of the season. Would be a decent take if Monty wasn’t known for being awful with developing players. Marcus, Ausar, and Ivey have all suffered because this coach refuses to let them hoop

He has not been given the opportunities; but his defense has been the issue(which has vastly improved) and also this was Killian's last shot. He was only on the team because Monty Williams(new coach) saw potential. Ironically enough Killian played pretty good this game. He needed to; to be ballsy enough to request a trade.

This is just that awkward point in time when a team has two really talented players that need to time to figure out how they work together. Maybe the do or maybe they don't, but it takes time. Too early to to say it can't work. But it does seem Ivey needs to be the lead PG and Cade should be off ball more.

@@beankobe8205 Cade is the only player that should consistently be getting more minutes than Ivey. Monty's job is to develop this team, you don't do that by sitting the best guys on your team and the ones that show the most potential for your future. Killian should regularly be playing behind Ivey & Sasser at the point, unless Cade is out, and even still he should be playing less minutes than both. Go watch Monty's postgame, Ivey had a career high and had the biggest impact on the game. Yet Monty only talked about him when asked directly and had more criticism than praise.

Jaden needs to be the long term PG. However, Jaden is also not ready for that right now either. Hopefully he will be next year.
