In this video, I'll unbox the Minelab X-Terra Pro metal detector as well as show you how to assemble it. This is a game changer for entry level machines. There is nothing comes close to the features of the X-Terra Pro for the price. If you are new to metal detecting and need a really good entry level machine on a small budget this detector is for you. I would even dare to say that this machine will challenge some of the mid-level metal detectors when it comes to features and performance. Let me know what you think by leaving a comment. Thanks for watching!
If you are looking for one of these Minelab X-Terra Pro metal detectors or anything related to metal detecting I recommend reaching out to our friends at Fort Bedford Metal Detectors and give them a chance to earn your business. Minelab is killing it.
Thanks, bought one today!
Congrats! Hopefully you gave my friends from Fort Bedford some love :-)
I’m about to order mine tonight, how do you like yours?
Nice presentation sir.i like the looks and the charging system ,no battery s so nice.😊
Thanks!
I’m literally sitting at the beach putting this thing together to your video so I appreciate it. Common sense but I wanted to make sure I didn’t screw it up since I don’t need directions.
Just picked one up. Thanks for the video Scott.
Right on!
How do you like it?
Thank you very much!
Thank you!
Just to have that coil is worth the cost of the machine.
The adjustable remote handle is great for the perfect fit. Feels better balanced after adjustment.
Totally agree
great little detector, I was wondering since the coils are marked "V" would the V series coils from the Vanquish line work with this detector?
Replied to you over on Patreon. I think you will be happy.
Cool machine thanks for sharing!!!!
Thanks for watching!
I have the Equinox 800 and the Manticore, but couldnt pass this up for the price. This will be my detector for snorkeling lakes and rivers and to take on cruises. Breaks down small, completely waterproof, if it gets lost damaged or destroyed, not out much compared to the other 2.
Yep thats what I'm using my for as well. Works great and for the price you can't beat it.
I would like to know more about the battery situation. I don’t wanna buy a machine that I have to send back to the Minelab manufacture to get a battery replaced. I don’t mind buying a rechargeable battery for the machine from the company or from some Metal detecting website store online and be able to change the battery myself I see a lot of these built-in battery operated detectors out there. They say you have to send it back to the company, and that a lot of them are glued under the handle grip. I hope this detector is not glued under the handle grip for a battery replacement.
Its not under the handle, its in the control pod. And unfortunately, unless you are really handy, sourcing a battery and resealing the control pod after changing it out is more than most can tackle. I agree, having a machine with a built in rechargeable battery is nice while it works, but 5 years down the road, gonna be problems and sadly almost EVERY brand is going this route. I think they know they will get more money on battery replacements by doing this.
Got to like new Detectors this one is pretty cool. I know I am looking forward to get one in hand, Just not sure when,. Thanks For Sharing
You bet
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Thanks for vid.
No problem!
Playing catchup on watching another vid of yours and commenting but another excellent vid! If I knew a tenth of what you know I’d prob be alright, but I’ll figure it out in time…I’ve got a Manticore, 900, 700, and a Nokta Double Score 2 to figure out. Lol
Thanks! I don't have the Score or Double so you are one up on me. :-)
@@MentalMetalI may be one up in that dept, but I’d trade you the Double Score straight up for a good wknd outing of knowledge and teaching…liable to throw the 700 in on the training lesson deal as well. 😆
It’s easier to adjust the shaft length first before uncoiling and winding the coil wire on the shaft.
Thanks Gary.
Good morning, a question: can I connect the USB cable of the X - TERRA detector to the USB port of my computer for charging?
Or do we plug the USB cable into a wall socket like we do with cell phones?
Thank you very much in advance.
Wall socket
@@MentalMetal so the wall socket is better, it makes sense and should charge the battery faster, I just received my detector, tomorrow I will do a basic video on the channel on how to assemble the detector, thanks again from Brazil
This director just killed Nokta simplex...and any First Texas product.
Time will tell.

Thanks sometimes you win sometimes you lose on the format.
@@MentalMetalLol…some folks would bitch if you gave ‘em a million ‘cause you didn’t give ‘em two. 😂
