Perhaps the song started out this way and was “popped up” for the time it was released to make it more commercially viable. I love this version and gives the song a different feel.

Especially with the way Stevie talks down about him every chance she gets. Most of which is BS and irrelevant. He's one of the greatest guitarists ever ❤
Only gets better with time, deep, true artist. Too bad MAC couldn't work things out, what a disappointment. Lindsey has always been my favorite of the band. Sorry to have missed this, had no idea he was on the lineup. I would have attended, taken the five hour drive just to experience this.
He Had a HUGE part of what FM. is today . and brought Stevie Nicks with him .. He had open heart surgery last Feb. just a few months after they fired him ( not saying this was the cause ) did they even think of maybe... just maybe , that is why he did not sign on another go tour with them ? .. NO . they only thought of them greedy selves.... Shame on ALL of you !!
YES I AGREE . that was probably why he put of a big tour for a year..only doing his solo tour ..small tour compared to a F.M WORLD TOUR...WE WILL NEVER KNOW THE FACTS REALLY..ONLY WHAT THE MEMBERS CONCERNED LET US KNOW... Anyway awesome version..awesome guitarist,,awesome singer/ songwriter....and almost 50 years of sharing it with us...
ALSO ..lets be honest.. Mr .Buckingham. Was probably,,possibly definitely,, the biggest contribution to the music that F.MAC put out over the years...STEVIE was the main voice ..the others all put in there 2 pence worth in ..but L.B.. was the driving force...you only have o watch the documentary were there trying to get it together...
i love this song ,im always in trouble ,no!lol!such a talented man!lol!Mick made a mistake siding with stewvie again,sad tho they were the best group of there time and no matter how she feels,someone got those two together singing when they were young maybe not as a couple but as tow souls inline with there voices to make some of the most beautiful music,i hope they could forgive each other and get off the power thing,it looks stupid on two people of your age!otherwise looks like Lindsey has no problem going it alone ,very talented!

Fleetwood mac sucks without this guy..bottomline last few tours he was the only one who had any energy on stage, rest looked tired. John looked "when is this over", stevie " trying to relive the past", Christine "maybe I should have said screw this" and Mick riding the coat tails of his glory days
