I remember when I first read Song of Solomon, my very soul was a helpless captive, and I fell in love with Christ. Although I didn't understand many of the verses, I couldn't stay away from this treasure chest of love 💓 today after 7 years of this discovery, I'm spending a whole 30 days in this love song, and I pray and hope to walk more closely to the One whom my soul loveth. I pray God to meet with me there and to kiss me with the kisses of His mouth, for His love is better than wine 🍷. God hates sin. He is just, and therefore has to punish sin and sinners. Otherwise He wouldn’t be just. But He is also gracious and merciful. God sent His only Son to pay the fine for our transgressions. His wrath was spent and poured out. Not avoided or cancelled. It was placed on Christ. So that God may be both just and the justifier.
@@allen0088 when Roman’s 9 says “Jacob I loved and Esau I hated,” that’s not what it means literally. You clearly have a superficial understanding of the verse. God hates sin. Esau was a sinner. But what the verse is saying is, the effectual, saving, predestined love God had for Jacob makes the kind of love that God had for Esau look like hate. Go listen to RC Sproul talk about it.
@@siegistic You don't mention how he planned for them to go to an eternal lake of fire before he created the world. They are nothing, mere clay in the hands of God. He is their only hope, but before he created them their fate was sealed. God has perfect knowledge and power and they are his to do with as it pleases him.

God hates sin. He is just, and therefore has to punish sin and sinners. Otherwise He wouldn’t be just. But He is also gracious and merciful. God sent His only Son to pay the fine for our transgressions. His wrath was spent and poured out. Not avoided or cancelled. It was placed on Christ. So that God may be both just and the justifier.

But what the verse is saying is, the effectual, saving, predestined love God had for Jacob makes the kind of love that God had for Esau look like hate.
