My favorite scene from the film "A Day at the Races" (1937), a classic Marx Brothers musical comedy.
Watch as Dr. Hugo Hackenbush (Groucho Marx) juggles two women on the dance floor. One is his older wealthy girlfriend (Margaret Dumont), and the other is a devious younger blonde (Esther Muir) who has caught his eye.
An entertaining mixture of a comic situation, several funny lines, and a variety of delightful dance steps. Enjoy!

1:35 If looks could kill 🤣🤣 Groucho and Margaret Dumont were the perfect odd-couple in these movies. Also, I remember I used to confuse the other actress with Virginia Bruce (from Ziegfeld) growing up; she's actually Esther Muir.
This whole sequence may be Margaret Dumont's shining moment in all their movies... especially at about 1:58 and following...
His physical comedy was brilliant as well.
How Margaret kept her straight face during these movies ,we will never know.👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The song is "I've Got a Message from the Man in the Moon" written by the film's composer Bronislaw Kaper. Allan Jones was to sing it but that scene was dropped from the final film. Later Josephine Baker recorded a version.
And Groucho wound up dancing with Josephine Baker.
THAT'S a scene I'd give a month's wages to see!
Just loves the way he is dancing at 2:05, he is so far out. Wish i could dance like that, and also his self confidente way of flirting i would like to copy.
