2 years mobile detailing and this has never let me down. This definitely pays for itself. I can get about 4 to 5 cars done with the ammo hand pump and 40 oz of water mixed with frothe. And no, it doesn't take 30 microfibers. And yes I do it without scratching any of my vehicles.
This product has the most lubrication than any other product. You don’t need to use a ton of towels like people say you do. I use as a rinseless. There is no mess the foam evaporates. This product hands down is the best waterless wash/rindless wash on the market. If you are using a ton of towels than rethink your process or the car needs to be washed the traditional way. Larry talks about this in depth on his RUclips.
I am so grateful for this video. My daily driver is black, and no matter what I do, I get these very light scratches. That's why I stay away from rinseless washing. Drives me crazy. All I can do is limit it by using a hose and giving it a very light polish every year.
According the AMMO, you use a bit too much product per panel. This is not meant to replace a foam gun, and cover the panel with foam entirely. You mist the panel but not to the point where it is covered entirely with foam as you did on the 1st panel. This is according to Larry in this own video, so we can trust the advice.
Feynlab pure rinseless with a keg sprayer pre soak and two buckets is my go to. Only contains surfactants and no polymers which is essential if your doing paint correction or coatings.
For my own personal car I may consider it. I feel like its a bitt expensive at $35 per bottle, I know Larry makes great products I have a bottle of Hydrate and its awesome. I think this weekend I'm going to rinse Fbomb out of my IK foamer and put some wipeout in there and see what it does...just for fun. Great video, Brian!
@@apexdetail85 what would your go to method be for wiping off show cars? I want to avoid marring as much as possible but breaking out the foam cannon and buckets is a fair amount of effort for nuisance dust from driving to shows. Additionally, I don’t like to put water on them if I don’t have to. Not every window seal is mint and the water can get down into panels and linger. Thanks!
Awesome review. I’ve just ordered a couple of bottles. I usually foam and hose then wash with Garry Dean style method in the garage. ONR is ok, Garry Dean with Juice Boost leaves nice protection but both haven’t had the lubricant feel. Hope Frothe can help here. Costly to post to Australia but my other AMMO product is awesome so took a chance. Thank you.
Brian, I really appreciate the effort you put into the way you present your vids to show us real-world scenarios. Looks like a product to experiment with for my arsenal. The price is a little steep but it looks promising... Thanks!
How about doing a side by side test, comparing the amount of scratching/marring with just pure water. If you can't notice any less with just pure water, just use pure water.
Not sure if this performs any different from ONR, but, it looks better to the customers if theres foam. So im going to get it. Pre foa with this and wash with ONR.
It looks great but, when you foam it on a panel and it happens to get into hard to reach areas, Like on the explorer between the fender and bumper area, you can’t remove with the microfiber, what do you do? Maybe it dissipates after awhile? It seems very messy with out a hose of some sort. Thanks Brian!
I have this in my arsenal, works great during my WNY winter. Question on your review re: scratching from the compound, is this consistent with other waterless or rinsneless tests you have done?
IMO a Waterless product should be used as a maintenance wash of a car that is well looked after and is coated with a sealant such as Fusso Coat or Collinite 845. Cleaning without water a bare panel like in the last example will definitely leave scratches on the surface. In winter (above freezing conditions) I like to Rinse the car first at a jet wash and use my Prokleen Waterless wash with a foam pump. Never had any issue with scratches but the car is detailed twice a year and is coated with Fusso Coat. I finish off with Last Touch and/or Sonax BSD.
Yea I'm trying to like this whole frothe ammo idea but how is this better or easier than say filling a bucket of wolfgang uber as a rinseless with a bunch of meguiars wash mitts going panel by panel? Then you have the whole hydrate application that would just be another step right? Is this really better than uber rinseless wash....I mean you could always mix some uber rinseless wash into a IK foam sprayer right? and then wipe off?
Apex Detail That's what I'm thinking too. My only hesitation of this ammo system is that it looks like a pain to wipe off. Like trying to wipe of shaving cream where as with Wolfgang uber it is much easier. Plus with Wolfgang uber you can use it as a traditional wash, rinseless, and waterless. Just my two cents though.
Another great video. I don't trust waterless wash products either. I wash my car with the pressure washer either at home or at the car wash first. I wonder if you sprayed this on and let it sit would it rinse off with a pressure washer and still remove the dirt?
Thanks for posting this. Larry from Ammo NYC hasn't posted a demo or accurate product description for his new products yet. Been searching all over youtube to see if its worth it. His stuff ain't cheap.
I love ammo products ,but this system just doesn't seem like it's very efficient(you seem to have to use quite a bit of towels to use to clean the whole vehicle) compared to the onr system. Not to mention the expense.
Interesting product. I saw this the other day on Larry's video and was curious about it. You did not waste anytime getting your hands on it. What are your 2 other trusted rinseless methods?
Question regarding the IK Sprayer, Brian. I have IK Multi 12 and the smaller OK 5 (HANDHELD). So where can I purchase extra nozzles. I bought some from Amazon but no luck; didn't fit.

Great review! Can’t wait to pick up this product. I am also picking up AMMO foam gun too. Out of curiosity on your machine you put 1oz to 2 gallons of water. The bottle shows 1oz to 20oz of water, do you find that you diluted the product a bit or does your IK pumper work differently.
Even though I've been doing waterless washes for like 4 years now, I'm a bit skeptical on Larry's 25-30 claims. I know he's a stand up guy, and this isn't like the WW I use, so I can't exactly compare. But with every WW I use I'm using probably 25oz a car. 1:20 with a 16 oz bottle. With my remedial math level (thank youse California Public schools) I calculated I'd get 13'ish washes from 16 oz of the waterless I use if it was 1:20 dilutable. But again this product's a foam it's almost an apple to oranges comparison. And not just directed at Larry, most company's it seems tend to over exaggerate a products claims. And the towels he sells look awfully low pile, I've always been told high pile and the more plush the better for WW to lower chances of marring. LARRY please sell this in a 1 gallon version for detailers! I'm an eco conscious detailer, no hose no pressure washer. Anything I can buy in gallon sizes, I do. I want to use this, but I don't want to introduce 4 empty FROTHe bottles a month into our landfills. That wouldn't be very um, eco conscious of me.
@@Gotallofthem1 even if you use sponge. Say wipe with sponge, then clean/rinse sponge then use sponge again, the possibility that there are microscopic lint and grime and sand pebbles in the sponge and will damage your car's paint. So the process is still needing lots of microfiber towels.

I would love to do the traditional method of washing and foaming, but I don’t have access to water or electric hook ups. How many cars can you do with that 1 ounce / 2 gallons? When I mix Frothe as directed 1:20, 1 ounce barely does a whole car, I typically need 1.5 ounces for a full car (911).

Have you seen the guy who sells it, how he is all about not marring/scratching your car. Makes sense to over-engineer to get close to these kind of results.
