Did you watch the video? It explains what to look for - unless you are absolutely certain that you have a Prussian Blue variety, you probably have the common variety that everyone has.
Now, this is a stamp I would like to buy, I have seen them offered by various high-end dealers, but my pockets are not that deep! Your video caused me to check again and Andrew Lajer has two on offer, one for £11,500 and the other for £9,750. Still one can dream to win the lottery.
They're a great stamp, and I've seen them on offer for similar prices... but they're still way too expensive for me, like you said... if I won the lottery things would be different :-)
That's my thought too. Most likely they were sold one or two at a time by a window clerk then used as postage. I'd estimate that the percentage of postally used stamps that are saved by collectors is very low ... if a stamp from the mystery sheet did survive it could well be reposing in someone's grandfather's child album.
I got the 21/2 blue Jubilee stamp - 229a. But my Gibbons Color Chart shows the Blue Ultra so close to Prussian Blue.. Can you post a picture of the actual Prussian Blue stamp for comparison? Hope I get lucky! LOL
If you really think you have a legitimate Prussian Bluer then get with a member of the APS in your community. He will tell you how to get a certificate of authenticity. Rare stamps without certificates do not sell as well as those with certification. It's like getting rare coins slabbed. It protects the owner and the purchaser that you have a legitimate copy since counterfeits are possible in coin and stamp collecting.
