- Today we are remodeling a single wide mobile home for under $1,000 . In this mobile home update we remodeled our guest bathroom and are remodeling the hallway , entry way and doing a diy on our kitchen table. We spend zero dollars on this mobile home project by using materials we already had from previous mobile home updates. I have crooked teeth too (long story short, mom took me to a dentist that did a bad job and now I have crooked teeth at 51 because I can’t afford to fix it). Needless to say though you have a husband that loves you like I do, and loves you unconditionally! You are loved and adored and we are not here to look at your faults (I haven’t seen any but if you had any it wouldn’t matter because we accept you for you). We are here for you as you are for us! Kimi I am so blown away at how amazing your results are! Just one little tip.. my sister in law purchased a single wide to flip and remodel, and she did a coat of flat white ceiling paint on all the ceilings. It made the place look brand spanking new! Her trailer was also smoked in. I love your videos girl!

When you get a little paint where it’s not supposed to be, take a damp rag and wipe it off right away, as long as the paint is still wet, it will come off no problem. That might save you having to do touch ups. Everything looks really nice, I love the colours you picked 😊

A little tip for mobile homes…caulk is your BEST FRIEND!!! Caulk around the trim, strips on the wall, kitchen cabinets, anywhere and everywhere that has small cracks. It elevates your space SO MUCH. makes the biggest difference and is very inexpensive. P.s. your place is looking great!

Looks great. When you get your new flooring it will really make it everything seem open and brighter. What you have done right now is a big difference and opens up the small spaces. You did fantastic girl. Great job to you and Aaron.

We are almost done with a whole house renovation. We completed painting the front door which had windows and tiny details on it. It was nerve wracking. I adopted the motto, I'm not Michelangelo and this is not the Sistine Chapel. This is my house and I'm not perfect. If only I had adopted that motto on day one. 😂

I would paint the bathroom vanity to brighten the room! And just an FYI; it would be much easier to just remove the light switch covers than taping around them!

Apparently you either didn’t watch her video or you ignored her when she specifically asked her subscribers whether we thought she should paint the bathroom cabinet! Obviously 24 other people agreed with me (not to mention other comments also suggesting the same thing), and so did Kimi, because she did end up painting the cabinet! The next time you want to share a negative comment, you may want to make sure you aren’t making yourself look foolish!
I didn't see anything negative about the comment. I believe she was just adding her opinion about the cabinet brightening up the room. Why would you choose to take it as a negative comment?

It's amazing how white paint can really change things for the better. I love the table and chairs. You did great! The bathroom is a bit too dark for my liking but it does look better. I think if you painted the vanity white, changed the green counter and removed the carpet and put up a white shower curtain it would brighten it up more. The hall is much better white. Great job! A tip from a painter, use a 2 inch angle-good quality paint brush to cut in the top of the wall next to the ceiling. Caulk those cracks and seams with an inexpensive latex caulk. Makes all the difference. You’re well on your way to becoming a RUclips channel creator, nice job on your editing!

Your hard work will pay off I live in one too and we redid floors put up new drywall years ago windows too.We also changed out kitchen cabinets and hubby just had us granite put in and it was on him We still need to do bathrooms, its takes time even years to do it .,but when you look at your work girl no better feeling.No matter what you live in if you' re determined you can make it beautiful trust me.I am in NC.also keep up the good work a little at the time and table turned out great.

You have made great strides on your place. In addition to the ceiling strips that you are painting, you can also paint the textured ceilings, especially if they’re stained or have water marks. I think the white looks crisp, and clean.
Also, you asked our opinion on the bathroom vanity. Lightly sand, paint (white) and polyacrylic it. Keep up the good work. I love your positivity!!
Hey, I'm a new subscriber and you are doing a great job with your home so far. I would definitely paint the bathroom cabinet white and if you had 10 dollars I would buy a white shower curtain. Then if you wanted to do an extra step I would buy some trim at the lumber store (should only be about 20 dollars max) and glue or nail it around the bathroom mirror and paint that white! Then you would have a picture perfect bathroom. BUT what you did looks great too....hope you don't mind these little suggestions....just trying to give you other options, that's all. Hugs xoxo

Use a butter knife to unscrew the screws on the face plates of the outlets and light switches, you won't have to use tape
