Every sound of an speech has its own roll to play in society, such as teaching, commanding, conversation, giving an order for action...etc. The sound of speech which I am hearing in this video, it is very - very suitable for teaching. What a pleasant and enjoyable way to learn Hebrew. It is just remarkable and what a wonderful ability! ❤🌷🍷😊
Thank you for making these videos on the Hebrew alphabet; they are presented very well and you explain everything in an easily understandable manner. They have helped me a lot!
omg with you I've been learning this language for 3 days and got almost all the words right! This is amazing. I can talk to that cute Jewish boy in no time!
As of Feb 2nd 2017 there is no part 4. As the method is great and the teacher incredible good. I hope nothing bad happened to her and she could not make and post part 4. I am grateful for the course so far and am hoping she is fine and that will post part 4. Thank you for your great work
Great Videos! You are so good at this and I learned SO much in half an hour! I did not know any hebrew and found myself sounding out words at the end! Please come back and do a part 4! Pretty please with a cherry on top?
It's 1:30AM and I need part 4 NOW!!!! Given the fact these videos are six years old I think you have may have problem with procrastination. You said part four would teach me the last four letters and I refuse to learn the final letters elsewhere having gone this long with you as my teacher. PLEASE I NEED THE FOURTH VIDEO! HOPE THIS MESSAGE FINDS YOU WELL.
Wow it is truly amazing to see the Arabic and Hebrew consonants mirror each other like this I've studied other Semitic languages but these two are so similar... charity is the same and it's root meaning of righteousness.. Thank you.. Your lessons have been vary helpful... Peace
How would you write words that start with the letter "J" in the Hebrew alphabet ? Example "Jacket" "jump" etc. and names that start with "J" like Jeremiah? Would you start the J with a Gimel or a Yod will someone please give an answer ASAP
Part 3 is downloaded twice... and there is no part 4 which we all like to see and use :). Would you be so kind and download it for us please? Many Thanks and Best Regards from Poland
Hi, thank you for this video! Maybe someone can help me understand this: why do I have to put Ayin in front of the Vav in the word "Olam" (0:45) ? One could simply read the word without Ayin, right? Is there any rule regarding the beginning of a word?
great video! but ayin is not pronounced as aleph at all. it is not a silent letter at all. It has the same prounciation as arabic "ayin": ع it is hard to explain though! but it comes from the throat. it is like saying aleph the sound: ah but you push your throat to make a different sound
shalom I'm Syrian trying to learn Hebrew and find it very easy to learn because most of the letters and words are very close to Arabic even some pronounce and we also read from right to left and please help me , I'm looking for part 4 but I couldn't find it
I would like to save your videos in a private playlist, but the 4th video on the alphabet is set up for kids, and I can't save it to my Hebrew alphabet playlist.
Consonants (even the "silent" ones) are part of the root meaning of each word, and you can't have a vowel without a paired consonant, so Ayin must stay in the spelling. Plus, neither Aleph nor Ayin are really silent - that's just the simplest and best way to explain it in English. Look up "glottal stop" and "voiced pharyngeal fricative" on wikipedia and you will see a more accurate (but also potentially confusing) instruction for what the throat does with these letters.
My Dear Teacher don't let us alone! We do need Part four! You are very very kind to help us all! Please come back! Thank you.
Thank you for first 3 parts. If you can complete with part 4 we would all love it. You are clear and precise.
