Agree the Malaysia native endangered species need to have government money and protection, just as much if not more, than panda.
Especially endangered endemic species of Sabah & Sarawak (Borneo).
Sun Bear, Orang Utan 🦧, Bornean Elephant 🐘 , Proboscis Monkey, Malayan Tiger 🐅, Tapir, Sunda Pangolin, Helmeted Hornbill, Sunda Blue Flycatcher 🐦, Giant Pitta, Green Iora 🦜, many types of frogs 🐸 native to Malaysia also endangered, Green Sea Turtles.
Many of these can be protected if there is more protection of rainforest 🌳 🌴 🌳 & coral reefs 🪸 🐠
Malaysia’s rainforests are some of the oldest and most biodiverse on the entire planet, they are a treasure, they deserve to be protected for future generations, so that we have a healthy and beautiful world.

well beside diplomacy, also increase the tourists come to Malaysia + zoo negara income. If you see those china social media , actually these panda in Malaysia actually quite famous in their social media. Frequently have tourist from their country come to visit Malaysia and go to zoo negara because they want to visit these panda 🐼 that live in Malaysia( although the panda is from their country ) . A lot of their netizen actually know Malaysia from these panda that born in Malaysia zoo negara. So indirectly it bring good name and advertising our country to others country people.
