    One reason I love board games so much is the level of concentration required helps me when my fibro causes intense pain. I have had a horrible past week and a half, and sometimes meds just don't manage the pain well. But when I am learning how to play a game, or playing a game, I'm thinking so much about the world of the game and the rules of the game that I can feel less pain for an hour or so. It's also something I can do with a heating pad wrapped around one arm or my back and it doesn't exacerbate the pain the way video games do, for example. I feel very thankful for this channel because one of the best things about getting a new game is it focuses me extra much on the game and takes me into an ache-free world for a while.

    Hey Rodney! Thanks for your great videos! We got a question: if a card effect allows you to put a card from your bench to your pile, does that mean that you are allowed to take only one card from one spot on your bench even if the are more than one card of the same kind on that spot?

    Hi, Rodney.
    I just played a solo tournament after buying the game, and came up with this question:
    If the player count is an odd number, does that specific player just keep fighting against the Robot, do is there a way that player get to interact with other players before the final big showdown?
    Thanks!

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  8 месяцев назад

      I don't have the game in front of me at this moment, but I believe you'll find that (no matter what player count), players always switch up opponents from round to round, which means the bot would also be facing different players.

      I just had 3 runs with some teens, and as long as you give the robot a tournament plan card as if it were a real human, everything works fine.

    Question..ref 7:20. If you choose to discard, do you always have to draw new ones from the same deck? It would seem so with the earlier rule but thought I'd double check.

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  Год назад +2

      That's right, you'd have to stay within the deck you started from.

    2 questions, first, do you move only the top card from the bench to the reserve (i.e. if I have 3 recruits stack on the bench)? Second question, if I card allows you to move cards in your deck, I was under the impression you need to re-shuffle the remaining card so you would not know the order of your pile?

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  Год назад

      Hey there, I'm always happy to try to help with rules questions, but if the answer is provided in the video, than I have to direct you there (your first question is covered in the video with full examples). You'll find an index in the description to help you find the section you might be looking for.
      For your second question, during the Match Phase you must not look at your cards or rearrange their order except if an effect allows you to do so.

    • @martindube2751
      @martindube2751 Год назад

      @@WatchItPlayed Sorry, Maybe I was not clear with second question (since English is my second language) I will re-watch the video for my first question. So, for my second question, during a match, if you activate a card that let's you place cards on top of your deck, I was under the impression you should re-shuffle the remaining cards.

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  Год назад

      @@martindube2751 Hi Martin, did you have a reason for thinking it should be shuffled? Was there a rule in the rulebook that made you think so?

    Can you discard the 5 cards, then pick 1 from the other 5, qnd after that get 4 new ones and pick 1 of them?

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  11 месяцев назад

      You wouldn't be able to do that, because you can only discard one time during the process.

    what ages would you suggest this for?

    • @WatchItPlayed
      @WatchItPlayed  11 месяцев назад +1

      I avoid giving age recommendations. Often times it's less about age, and more about interest. There are highly complex games that a motivated kid can learn and enjoy that a grown adult may not be able to, so I think it's best to watch the video and see if you can assess whether or not the game and complexity would be the right fit for the person you're thinking of. I think that's better than be throwing out a number, and having it not suit the particular person you're thinking of.
