I searched for other videos to do this but didn't give me the confidence to do by myself as it looked difficult. You made it look so simple that I was apprehensive at first. But I followed the instructions just like you said (even bought it from ebay :) )and it worked. You are the best !!
Oh my god! Those sounds are the exact same sounds my 2015 Ford Fiesta was making in the months before it stopped working entirely and just showed me the Ford Audio screen. Thank you for sharing this and letting me know exactly what is going wrong
I bought fiesta in august, i have the same problem, the guy who i bought it from told me he doesnt know why it doesnt work either, it does say it has no cd in it but i don't know the exact reason why it doesn't work. i've never disassembled the radio so if i do that like you did here and just reconnect the recorder it will it hopefully work? or do i buy a new radio? i'm also trying to use AUX cable but the radio doesnt read it when i plug in but my phone does read it. as i know i dont need the cd to be able to use the AUX cable but the monitor itself doesnt show anything except time no matter what i press when i turn it on
I've installed a 2din android and i can't access the menu in the original car monitor. i need a way to change the date there because it says 2010...any advice?
But what made it go bad in the first place? After some searching around this seems to be a consistent issue with this model of vehicle; so were the stock radios just low quality? Will replacing it only be a short-term fix and something similar will happen later on because of some other problem? or is this actually saving the $500 that ford wants to charge to fix it?

Thanks again! You’ve saved me so much money thru the years.
Heeheehee "these guys take it seriously. Thanks for the video. It helped me troubleshoot my issue from your last video to this one to install it.
Thank you for showing us!
Thanks so much for posting! I have the same car and it is making that terrible noise like in the video!
Can’t seem to locate a radio can you post a link to where you found yours
Can you still use blue tooth after replacing? My stereo has the same issues
Great video! Thank you!
Were they the same id code? Even when they have different connectors?
Did you have to enter a code? I see some radios have an anti theft code.

Do you recomend to change the iriginal to an android?
same problem I have with my 2013 focus. Do you have to disconnect battery?
Does the sync Bluetooth still work once installing new radio?
I see you posted this a few years ago. Have you had any problems recently?

Hey budy, can you recommend me the sellers? Beacause i have te same problem and I see on eBay the same radio on $145
145 is a bot too much... dont worry much about seller, you will return if item wont work
It’s $165 now for a refurbish one ...ugh just ordered mine “f*ck you cheap ass Ford”
But what made it go bad in the first place?

+William Thompson just buy used radio. Trust me. If that goes bad. Buy another one. 500$ is crazy

Watching the the box being opened adds so much value. Not.
