Every offensive coordinator in the country "schemes" their best players open. He's not slow and regardless, speed alone doesn't get you open; understanding leverage, defensive coverages and route running does. This is especially true at TE where you're typically in a crowded part of the field. Many legendary TEs were not what some would consider "fast"
Go look at past TE Dalton Kincaid and Brock Bowers there separation and athleticism pop out on film. Fannin looks like he’s struggling to even run with no knee lift or anything. 7th rounder special teams at best.
@@annepaul5737 you named two TEs and of those two Brock Bowers is a freak athlete. Yes those two pop out on film for sure 100%. But I remember Tony Gonzalez, Antonio Gates, Alge Crumpler, Jeremy Shockey, Dallas Clark, Jason Witten, Health Miller, Chris Cooley, Greg Olson, Todd Heap, Brent Celek on and on hell even Travis Kelce isn’t a burner but these are all guys that could not separate with speed alone and still had excellent careers. The assessment just doesn’t seem fair, there’s so many things he does seem to do well. I’m not saying you’re wrong or right, stick to your opinion I just think you’re over focusing on the speed variable. Only time will tell us and I may be incorrect in my assessment.
If I’m the colts I’m getting starks in the mid teens of the first and trading back into the back end of the first and getting fannin. Unreal athlete and a complete matchup nightmare. Would instantly be our TE1
Best TE in the class hands down. Absolutely can not understand how he is so under rated in dynasty circles right now with 100 Rec, 1,300 yds, and 8 TDs. Those are like the best TE numbers of all time. And he did it against top competition in Penn St and Texas A&M too. It wasn't all just against weak opponents. Best TE numbers ever and Im yet to see one dynasty mock with him in the first or even top half of the 2nd round. Crazy.
Yeah, I don’t get it. I guess it’s the bowling Green & competition . If this guy was on Penn State then he’s an automatic 1st rounder . I think he’s better than Tyler kid from Penn State. I just wanna know if he can block or tries not saying block like Rob Gronkowski but is he a wr playing TE or a real deal TE ? Would love him for Drake maye.
This guy is special man, kind of flying under the radar cause he plays at Bowling Green but if you look at the tape hes like a Njoku/Bowers/Engram level of talent special, people going to want to over draft Tyler Warren and Colston Loveland great prospects themselves but this kid is so shifty and elusive for a TE
@@johndavis6719he’s a late first round pick which is just where LAC will be at given we made the post season what this guy is showing on tape he won’t make it past the second round I think if he’s there we take him it’s a no brainer
nah i’d love to see this guy play for the black and gold, keep foster for the blocking and receiving threat and let juwan walk and draft fannin as his replacement this guy looks insain with his ability to cathc
I like the builds of Colston Loveland and Tyler Warren better, however this kid is technical and runs some clean routs. He's in a weird place where he is a small tight end and a big slow receiver
I literally said that weeks ago Mini Njoku I really feel this guy is underrated they keep calling him undersized but he’s basically the same size as Bowers
Harold Fannin and Jake Brinningstool and Tyler Warren i have as the the best 3 Tight ends in the draft Fannin should have won the John Mackey Award this season and Jake Brinningstool is the most athletic Tight end in the upcoming draft so if there’s any tight end worth going in the first round it’s those two guys My top prospects are QB: Cam Ward (Miami) RB: Ashton Jeanty (Boise State) WR: Tetairoa McMillian (Arizona) TE: The 3 I named depends on who you ask OT: Kelvin Banks Jr. (Texas) IOL: Will Campbell (LSU) DL: Mason Graham (Michigan) EDGE: Abdul Carter (Penn State) Inside Linebacker: Jalon Walker (Georgia) Outside Linebacker: Barrett Carter (Clemson) Cornerback: Will Johnson (Michigan) Safety Malaki Starks (Georgia) Best overall Athlete: Travis Hunter (Colorado) I don’t know position Travis Hunter will play at the Next Level if it’s DB or WR so I’m Labeling him as A Athlete like in the high school recruiting rankings

Best tightend in the country not he's around maybe 12th not strong can't block too slow to be wideout he's a fb or HB who's ranked 3rd at that position which would be 7th round or UDA he played against terrible teams and doesn't even have blazing speed .. he could of transferred and made more nil money atleast 500k nobody will know what he's been up too in 3 years
Does he block or is he a glorified wide receiver not saying he hast to block like Gronk but is he a kelce or a gates. Gonzalez gronk type Because after these highlights, I rather have him over the Penn State kid
@@reagan0809 egregious take, fannin has a higher run blocking grade than tyler warren and any other te in the draft. if he adds weight before the combine he will be a great blocker.
He's too slow, and he's being schemed open. He will not create any separation at the next level if he gets there.
Look at the film. He’s beating one on one coverage everytime they try that

You saying he a 7th round pick with over 117 catches & 1500 yds& 10 TDs? Sound like you hating at this point
You can tell when a player has soft hands dude is a natural pass catcher and good tracking and over the shoulder ability
What makes him more special is that he's physical after the catch. He will thump you.

They won't need to trade into the first, it's a deep TE class, they can get him at their second pick, maybe trade up a bit in the second.
xaiver watts way better than starks

Tyler Warren of PSU is the consensus top TE. (I thought it was ironic that you had Fannin's team playing Penn State near the start of the video.)
