Let's be fair, the way Lily James stares at Andrew Scott is the way we all stare at Andrew Scott. A sure way to have the spotlight stolen in any form of show/film is to cast Andrew Scott in it, the man's fantastic.

He's one of those people who is beyond sexy, but it's hard to pinpoint exactly why. He's impossible to watch without having a reaction. I can't wait to see how the series plays out.

This is an adaptation of the 1st book of a great trilogy, but the 2001 adaptation, _Love in a Cold Climate_ , is much better.

I love Andrew Scott and his character in this series (and this is quite the fabulous entrance!) But I also enjoy Davey, especially in this scene. The awkward laughter is adorable.
The scene is perfect! Lord Merlin oozes pure lust. Linda’s (Lily) reaction is priceless, Davey’s admiration and subtle amusement and Uncle Matthew … I can’t even begin 😂 Amazing production and a very talented cast. I loved every moment of it!

He's just magnificent. His appearance is perfectly measured mixture of intelligence, sarcasm, the way he looks at you, deep into your soul and the androgynous movements of his body. This man is pure sex appeal.

Everyone failing to mention the insanely brilliant T-Rex track !! Bolan makes him look good , in fact Marc was probably one of the few guys that could upstage him in that scenario .

@@jaquelinetaparelli260 Dandy in the Underworld by T. Rex is the song featured in this scene. If you fancy T. Rex, you will be in for a treat, as he (Marc Bolan) has quite the discography for someone whose life was cut so short.

But I believe what they mean is that many people aren’t completely themselves. Many people don’t know who they are, or aren’t comfortable with who they are, or are trying to be whoever society thinks they should be. Andrew Scott is completely himself and owns that.
