This was a very refreshing video! This definitely is a process I am willing to try! The construction of the clips set the wig making game and extension game to another level. I have Caucasian clients that I make extensions for and these clips will make it so easy to apply. Making wigs on set when I am doing music bands will definitely help with my time spent backstage. Thank you for showing this!
Love this video! And now imma be looking for those clips. When I was relaxed I used to sew clips on hair and make my own clip ins... now I can do it again with these and no sewing! Yeah!!
I stopped wearing a full head of weaves years ago, but I’ll definitely try this for a “just in case” purpose. That braided cap would be a little to bulky for me, but I wonder how a regular crotchet cap would work, minus the closure. I bought those clips in after watching an old video of yours years ago. 😊
Hello, awesome video! You helped me so much! I am wondering- Did you braid your natural hair down in cornrows before applying the wig to your head? If so, is it bulky to have a braided cap on top of your own braided head? Little confused here. Thanks!
Hi, I have clip extensions I don’t use anymore so I want to make a wig with this method. I was thinking to buy and add lace ear to ear frontal 13x4. Cut the cap and sew it. In your opinion it would works or all the cap will fall apart because cut almost in half?
Thanks. The clips on the wefts are secure, but the closure could be secured better if the clips were sewn on. As far as cost, the clips practically last forever and can be reused, so that offsets the cost of thread and glue which cannot be reused and wear out over time. Plus, the wig cap can be reused too.
@@PureEstrogen i knoooooww. Plus its allows for easy fixes if you mess up the assembly. Unlike a sew in or hot glue method will leave upset if its messed up.
OMG!!! Where have you been all my beginner wig making life!!??? I am a student for real. THANK YOU SOOOOOO MUCH!
You're very welcome. I'm glad my video helped.

You're welcome. I'm glad this is a possibility for you. I would have never have thought it would be useful in your field.
I was DEFINITELY just looking for an alternative to a regular wig/sewing cap, and this braiding cap (brand new to ME) saved my life lol. Thanks!
I'm glad. Thanks so much for watching!

I think the regular cap would work beautifully. It would probably be faster as well to install. I'll try to do a video.
Omg this technique is everything and won’t snatch my edges!!! 😃😃
Yes! We must protect our edges.
wig looks beautiful. you're incredibly talented.
Thanks so much! 💖
Thank you for putting me on to those clips can't wait to try them.
You're welcome. I hope you love them as much as I do.
Hey that's pretty dope! Thx for the tip!
Thanks so much.
Looks beautiful but too much hair for me.
Thanks. I want to do one with a more natural density in the future.
Gorgeous. ❤

I do wear cornrows and it doesn't feel too bulky because this texture works with the cap. Straight hair wouldn't be ideal for this at all.
Brilliant!!!!! I loved your review.
Thank you!
I love those clips. so easy to change it up :-)
So true.
This is so cool, im gonna try this
It's definitely worth a try.
Love this idea😍 Tfs, lulu!
Thanks so much!
You are a genius and beautiful as well
Thanks so much! ❤
I swear we always think the same thing 😩. Great video 🤗
Lol. I think hair lovers share the same thoughts. Thank you. 🤗

It should work as long as your stitching is secure.
Lovely idea
Thank you.
Can the clips be used for clippin closures on natural hair?
Yes.
I know this video is old but please reply. How many self it clips did you use in total and how did they hold up
I can't remember how many. Maybe 50. The clips last. I've never broken one.
Waouh very Beautiful
Thank you so much!
This is a great alternative but it seems like it would be less secure and more costly

So easy wish we had this in Jamaica
Thank you. Hopefully over time these products will become readily available.
Is the closure going to be bulky?
No, it felt fine. I feel like it would be too much for straight hair though.
Beautiful ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you.
Great idea.
Thank you.
This is A great idea 😊 and you remind me if Naomi Campbell
Thanks so much.
Awesome
Thank you.
differently going to try
Yes. It's worth a try.
This would make washing the hair, saving and setting its away and changing it. Easier. Omg I am solo trying this
Yes. More emphasis on changing it. 🤣 You can be a different person every day. 😁

@@toocutenoirb.4278 Facts! I'm terrible with glue. 😂
Great video.. Nice idea
Thank you.
How long would this wig last with clips?
As long as the hair is good. The cap is durable and so are the clips, so the quality of the hair that you use would determine that.
So beautiful
Thank you.
The hard clips would irritate my scalp/ head when laying down
This is true.
All the Amazon reviews say these clips are a bust😞
Really? Let me go read.
