Nice work brother.Clean and smooth playing.Practicing precision makes perfecting the art. Thanks for sharing and please continue to do the awesome job you do.God bless you and everyone always amen.
Great stuff! I just prefer to throw in economy picking. For some reason if the pick is traveling to a string it seems more difficult to change direction to get an upstroke , it just makes more sense to me to keep going in the same direction
Great job on this lesson lesson. Very concise while still getting your key points across and great musical examples. Also, good to see and hear you on the video!
Alex ....very very good!! can you give me some advice on how to study to have in the alternate picking: - an impeccable coordination - On the mastery of the control - Movements of the pick (wide or narrow in relation to the string), - to have optimal results in speed Thank you very mucho Gabriele
i wonder in First Paul gilbert lick do you think about pick slanting ?it seems to me it’s good to start on up picking that lick then through most of the lick you can use downward pick slanting
@@DiegoSanjorge my pleasure San. But please remember dont have too many Gin Tonis before driving, otherwise the Ourensean Police a.k.a Jacome's SWAT will be happy to get rich at your expense.
Hi Alex. In the last exemple you said that is a C major escale. I do not understand the out notes: D# and A#. I know that is a third minor and a seventh minor. Could you explain the intention of these notes? Thank you.
Hi there. D# its not a minor third, its a nine sharp, although enharmonically are the same. Same as A sharp, that would be B flat, wich will be a augmented sixth or a minor seventh. But im not playing any of those notes in the example
@@AlexNores Hi. Thanks by answer me. But you play 7 8 10 8 10 12 on string 4(D). This note 8 is an A#. And you play 8 10 12 10 12 14 on string 3(G). This note 8 is a D#. I am talking about the last example. Take a look to the tab. It maybe wrong and you can fix it to me.
I think your tabs are wrong, I was going over the final lick and u aren't playing what the tabs are saying to do. I thought it sounded odd for c major while I was learning it. Thanks again, keep the lessons coming
@@mavisser3211 What im saying here is the four main licks/exercises that i used when i was starting with the guitar to build some of the speed that i have today, nothing more than that. I teach/taught this licks to many people and they have worked fine, so i thought to share them.Simple as that. Thanks for the comment

@@AlexNores Your video says speed up alternate picking though, you show exercises only, not how to actually increase speed at all.
@@mavisser3211 Well Sir, i think ots quiet obvious that the way of geting speed is practing this exercises.
