Microsoft Intune is a cloud-based service that allows organizations to manage their devices and applications from a single console. Here are some of the key things that Microsoft Intune can be used for: 1. Mobile Device Management (MDM): Intune can be used to manage mobile devices such as smartphones and tablets. It allows IT administrators to configure policies, deploy applications, and secure corporate data on these devices. 2. Mobile Application Management (MAM): Intune can be used to manage mobile applications by controlling access to company data and enforcing security policies. This helps to protect corporate data from unauthorized access. 3. PC Management: Intune can be used to manage PCs that are running Windows 10. It allows IT administrators to configure settings, deploy applications, and enforce compliance policies. 4. Conditional Access: Intune can be used to enforce access policies based on user, device, location, and other factors. This helps to ensure that only authorized users can access corporate resources. 5. Endpoint Protection: Intune can be used to protect endpoints from malware and other security threats. It provides features such as antivirus, firewall, and device encryption. Overall, Microsoft Intune provides a comprehensive solution for managing devices, applications, and data in the modern workplace.
Thanks for covering intune as well . I am following you since 2021 and learned everything in depth from when i was in india and still learning when i am working as a system engineer in Australia.
Hello, from CR. Pura vida! Thank you for all your help explaining this environment with this level of detail. I love Microsoft's software and I love to work with so much. Again Pura Vida!
Excellent introduction. Just hope your series is not the standard intune videos found on many youtube channels but takes it to a higher level to help engineers understand and trouble shoot intermediate and advanced issues. Many thanks
8:01 if user account does not have intune license, I think those devices still can join AAD or reg to AAD. I also have a question about the difference between reg and join AAD. My understand is Reg means you only added school or work account in windows, join means you joined the deivce to school or work account at the windows OOBE interface. Please correct me if I am wrong. still learning now. :) thanks in advance
8:30 can not really cath this mean "Moreover if you create a configuration policy or a compliance policy instead of applying that policy to all the devices you create a security group in AAD, you add users or devices within the security group and you apply the policy on the group itself". can anyone explain it ?
This is probably something you already got the answer to by now, but the meaning is that if you make a group and apply the policy to the group, you can pop devices or users in and out of said group. This is cleaner management instead of applying policies on users and devices directly. When you do traditional Active Directory with GPOs it is very much the same concept.
Hi, thank you so much! I was looking for the same kind of tool to manage the office devices. Microsoft Intune will definitely sort out my problem. Eagerly waiting for your next videos. 🤩
Grateful for your incredible teaching style and explanation skills, sir! Your valuable resources, provided free of cost, have been immensely helpful. Proud to be a student learning from you!😇
Thank you so much please also include how we can manage virtual machines with Intune e.g. like when you have installed windows 10 on VMware Oracle box and you want to manage it using Intune. Thanks.
Instructor, I love your content and I am a subscriber. I am studying to take the MS-102, and I wanted to know if you have any more videos that I can watch. I also have set up an M365 admin sandbox account so that I can practice and follow along with everything that you are doing. Please give me any suggestion that you may have Thank you
@@Office365Concepts Thanks for quick response, I have taken Azure 30days free trail account for test VMs and for Intine I have taken Intune P1 free trial. I am unable to connect both during users and device creation.
Hi, thanks for this. I just want to ask, if we have 200 users, do they all need to have licenses for Microsoft Intune? Then 200 Msft 365 E5 license for each 200 users?
As per video easy to implement but we have see real environmental cloud based management. Allowing endpoint control and configuration and monitoring. Everything from controlled software installs to update and user management.MDM is best solution also windows os controlling is best
Good Video, I have a question how can we identify Company devices and BYOD devices how can we segregate these two? Can any one knows please give me solution please.

Device Management: Microsoft Intune allows IT administrators to manage devices remotely, providing them with a centralized console to manage settings, policies, and configurations for devices. Application Management: Microsoft Intune can manage applications on Windows devices, including the ability to deploy, update, and remove applications. This can help ensure that devices only have approved applications installed and reduce the risk of malware or other security threats. 3. Mobile Device Management (MDM): Intune provides MDM capabilities that allow organizations to manage and secure mobile devices. This includes features such as remote wiping, enforcing device encryption, and enforcing passcode policies. 4. Conditional Access: Microsoft Intune can provide conditional access to applications and data based on device compliance. This means that only devices that meet certain security requirements, such as being up-to-date with software updates, can access company resources. 5. Data Protection: Microsoft Intune can help protect data on devices through features such as selective wipe, which allows administrators to remove company data from a device without wiping the entire device. It can also enforce encryption on devices to protect sensitive data. Overall, Microsoft Intune provides a comprehensive set of tools for managing and securing Windows devices, helping to protect both the devices themselves and the data stored on them.
This is 100% hands down the best Azure/Intune video series I've ever seen.
