The Pure Sky is an amazing drive- doesn't get enough love from other pedal shows. I think everyone understood how much like a MXR Timmy it really sounds- they would be a lot more popular. Caline also makes a great power supply for your board- has a 12 volt, an 18 volt, and then 8 standard 9-volt options- for just like 35 bucks or so. The same power supply from a brand name is 80-90 bucks. There's no noise and it's easily mounted- works great for me.

I can only speak to the right side of this pedal… but man do I love me some Pure Sky. I use it as a booster for other gains… first, (of all things) a BE-OD, and now a Mystic Edge (Vox in a box pedal). Two radically different amp-in-a-box pedals, and it’s brilliant with either one. I’d put this new double pedal on my board on a second, but you couldn’t fit so much as a mosquito on there at the moment, it’s so tight.

Good review thanks, but it would have been nice to hear what it does at low gain setting, something Timmy excels at.

15:20 this really sounded great may I say almost Steve Vai like. Once you put them both together and add a bit of delay sounded a bit epic. I will say that might have needed a bit more of a metal sound considering the graphics but won’t hold it against the pedal.

This is on my wishlist. How well does it retain the low end for bass is what Im curious about most. Jo Bass has not done a video on it yet
