- This is a tribute to the great Brian Jones, indisputable founder and leader of the Rolling Stones; who both played and lived the Blues.
"Girls, good food, sleep, money... great! But we'd pass all that up to be able to show the country that R&B is one of the most compelling and different styles of music that has been waiting for a long time to break out properly" - Brian Jones.
Made by Lara and Ginny Lupin.
Song: Muddy Waters - Mannish Boy

~ NO JONES NO STONES ~
Of all the rock stars I have ever seen live, Brian had the most charisma by far.
He may have been outdone by less than a metre by Jimi. Both absolutely the last word in "cool" and "charismatic" though. Compared to them, Jagger was more or less like he appears today: always trying too hard.
BRIAN JONES 🌟🌟🌟 MY FAVOURITE ALWAYS AND FOREVER ❤❤❤..THANKS FOR THE BEAUTIFUL TRIBUTE TO OUR BELOVED BRIAN JONES 🌟✨💫🎸🎶🎶🎸🎸🙏
WOW! Fantastic tribute to a true legend and blues man. I'll be adding this to my playlist! thank you!

"No Jones, no Stones..." RIP Brian 😎👍
Without Brian.. no rolling stones..Brian Jones R.I.P.
Brian Jones lives forever in our Souls !!! Long Live Brian Jones !! This video tells it ALL !! :)
Brian, sorely missed. Multi talented musician. Bless you.
Respect Mr. Brian Jones, great musician! All my youth! We were burning life on both ends. All rebels. Famous time! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Each Rolling Stones album before and including Beggars Banquet showed the talent he contributed to the band.
Too bad he left us so early.
RIP Brian, We Love You Man................
"Brian was a better musician than all of us put together." ----Bill Wyman of the Rolling Stones.
If only he had of got clean and sober, like Clapton eventually did. Brian had the genius to be able to master any instrument, except his own nature.
@@tylercass2584 beautifuly said,really...😊
Aww Bill, loved Bill And Charlie, they were real, like Brian, they were the Epic Stones, I Am Waiting🎶Ting
Brian blew me away on Harpsichord in a Great Big Way🌝🌿
Brian Jones was the Grand Master who taught Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, both wet behind the ears when he recruited them into the band he was forming, how to play the music he wanted them to play, and simply how to be a Rolling Stone. His departure from the band and subsequent death was a great tragedy -- for the Rolling Stones as a band. They had a couple of creative years left in them, and then basically transformed themselves into a tribute band to the band Brian Jones created.

I was trying to formulate the same thing. Good to know someone else has the truth!
👏👏👏So powerful Song!!! So power was Brian too👏👏👏 Brilliant musician!!! RESPECT TO YOU BRIAN JONES 🙏 The pure Rolling Stone 🎸👏👏
Another beautiful tribute to Brian. 💜
Quiet day. I'm 73 and carry along time admiration for Brian and his talents. I am the kid on the block that gravitated to Brian's band while others were ya, ya, yaing. I was stunned at his leaving.
Didn't leave, he was fired. :(
@@Cissy2cute Trying to be more circumspect about saying died. To remain in the arena of civility I am always trying to soft coat what I say or write. In 1965 I was at the Manning Bowl, Lynn, Massachusetts concert. Despite having a guest, I was jamming my senses with every element that was musically available. The concert ended in a rush for the stage. I was struck dumb in disappointment that was only sharpened by the abruptness of the moment. My study, if that is an effective assessment of the experience, leaves me with the most enriching memory. Came time for "Lady Jane" Brian picked up his dulcimer. No chair was provided...the solution? Brian dropped to the stage and sat. Brian, for want off a better description, cradled the dulcimer in his lap as in a caress. Never before or since have I seen the same. For the first and only time in my life did I (tough to put across) feel touched by a musician. Understand what he was giving me. It may sound like a snow job but I realized Brian was reaching out as with a platter offering me and others a pleasure (huh, what?). I was also at Newport when they unplugged Bob Dylan but felt no remorse (Dewars. I suppose). I felt I got it....understood. Understand? My bitterness at his dismissal has never ebbed, nor do I expect its arrival any time soon. We were cheated unforgivably. I've been to nine concerts and I only study Charlie. As I get older I detect that I am somewhat addled, somewhat?, no assuredly. I will never forget Brian sitting on the stage as if he was accepting the challenge to deliver a gift that eludes language.
You, young lovely, know the grail. I genuflect in respect for your having held it (him). Sleep tight.
@@ruffian2952 First I got my PC working again, then YT didn't work. Ah...modern technology.
Every time I watch Brian playing dulcimer on the Ed Sullivan show I feel so bad for him because he had to keep making sure that the instrument was not going to fall off his lap.
I often wonder about the times when it looks like Brian's amp was either turned down or muted. This seems to have been the case with the R & R Circus. (my very good friend Celia attended that event, invited by Mick). I have two pictures of Brian with tears falling down his face at that event that I had found on the Internet. Pete Townsend had found him crying in a corner. He was finished and he knew it, even though he held on for a while until that fateful day when he was visited by Mick, Keith and Charlie.
What you wrote above shows the essence of what Brian truly was and that "average" people missed. He gave us a gift. To understand the fragile, creative mind is difficult, but I think you have seen and experienced what he was really made of. And close to his end he said that the blues were his one and only true love, and the harmonica his favorite instrument.
Thank you for this very, very interesting post.
@@Cissy2cute Young one. Do you ride any longer? Were you and Rocky jumpers? I enjoy watching steeplechase events. My name here is partly in honor of Ruffian the horse that broke down in a match race against Foolish Pleasure. In my youth I wasn't given to mawkish feelings but her passing turned me against horse racing in general. I felt so very bad watching her suffer. No more to say...I was sad for her. Ruffian was the difference between my father and I because I am a "junior". My grandfather referred to me as the ruffian because of my characteristics to let those to whom he spoke that he meant me not "senior". I'm all modernaed up. Get cracking, lady. Editorial addition, how is Celia faring?

NO JONES NO STONES!🎸
The Rolling Stones was and always will be the vision of Brian Jones. His love of the American blues art form helped spawn the quintessential British blues movement of the sixties, at a time when white America dismissed it as race music. Naming his group in honor of the music recorded by one of his idols was the ultimate form of flattery. Rest in peace young man. Your musical influence is still felt today.
@bustabass9025... I think you will like what Donovan has to say about Brian Jones, Donovan also jams with Brian's grandson Joolz Jones and the Juke, a live blues tribute to Brian Jones on a unique Audio-Video-Musical Journey. they play the Classic Blues Songs that Brian Jones seriously studied from the age of 13-19 years.

Beautiful Job, Brian will be the best stone forever!
... ... ...und an alle anderen Erdenbürger, bleibt gesund! Ihr wisst: CORONA ist überall.
Wow!! The must powerful Brian's video I've ever seen!!

The founder, guiding spirit, and simply the greatest of the Rolling Stones.
Brian DId NOT found the Stones.
He asked Keith if he could join Keith's band The Blue Boys... Keith agreed and later on The Blue Boys changed their name to the Rolling Stones.
Brian did not hire, audition or recruit ANY member of the Rolling Stones.
The Blue Boys were playing many Chicago style Blues songs well before Brian asked to join them.
What you have been told are lies myths and fictional legends about how the band started.
@@williardbillmore5713 That's Keith Richards' story, invented after he became riled by Brian Jones" posthumous fame and glory. Keith is a notorious liar.
@@AtomicLobotomy No, Lobotomy... Brian was the notorious liar. He filled Bill Wyman's head with lies about how he started the band and auditioned each one of them. ABSOLUTE NONSENSE. Bill had no first hand knowledge of how the band got together as he was not there. Brian joined Keith's band and Keith agreed in April of 62 ... Bill Joined the band in mid December of 62
Here is Brian explaining how the band started in a letter to the leader of his fan club authenticated and verified to be in his handwriting before it was auctioned off for over 75,000 pounds at Bonhams Auction House.;
*“The band is really an amalgamation of two bands. The one being an R&B band I formed about a year ago, and the other being a group run by Mick and Keith in S.E. London. I was introduced to Keith and we decided to pool our resources, so with Stu from my band, and Mick from Keith’s we became the nucleus of the ‘Stones.’”* --- Brian Jones.
When Brian asked Keith if he could join Keith's band, Brian did not really have a band at that time. Ian was the only musician who answered his advert who was willing to play R&B music.
Brian did not audition or choose or hire ANY member of the Rolling Stones.
It is all lies myths and fictional legend.
@@williardbillmore5713 Keith Richards could barely play guitar when Brian Jones found him and Mick Jagger. If not for Jones, Richards would have ended up working day job and playing in pub band on the weekend. Mick Jagger would have become gigolo in Soho. Two of most unscrupulous ahs in music business.

The really and best. Rolling Stone : Brian Jones FOREVER AND EVER
No question about it: Brian was an extremely capable, gifted, and talented instrumentalist and musician. But like so many of them, outside of music, he lost his way.
He didn't lose his way, just didn't care for the b.s.
On Santanic Majesties Request Brian took creativeness to another level with his multi instrumental talents. This made Jagger extremely insecure and jealous. After Jones left the Stones became a country/blues band. As an example what would Lady Jane sound like without the dulcimer, Under My Thumb without vibraphone, or Paint It Black without sitar, Ruby Tuesday without recorder, or Sitting on a Fence without the acoustic. Hey Sympathy for the Devil hooks you with the Moroccan precussions he wrote that qare interwoven throughout
