If you have a facial diffuser just put a pinch of salt in the water and let the steam penetrate it. I woke up with a stye this morning and it went away in 3 hours. Do it twice until the facial diffuser shuts off. Hot towels cool off in 30 seconds lol don’t nobody got time for that. I came up with this idea today, I kid you not. FYI keep the diffuser a safe distance so you won’t burn yourself.

I've bee battling a stye for a long time now. Just recently figured out that witch hazel on a cotton ball and applied to the eyelid for about 5 - 10 min a day, works very well for draining out the oils that are stuck in the eyelid. I'm surprised you never hear this mentioned..

My go to has always been raw garlic. As soon as I feel a stye coming, even when I cannot see it yet, I smash a bulb to crush it lightly just so some of its oils come out, and lightly dab around the stye area (not inside the eye but on the skin, outer area). It stings but only for a minute. This works very well for me. All the time.

I’m 5 days with stye (hordeolum) on my right lower eyelid. It got swollen and red after pool water got inside it. been using breastmilk as eye drops twice a day, cleaning my eyes with liquid baby soap/shampoo every time it’s itchy or clumpy. It popped yesterday after I applied warm compress of boiled egg wrapped in a paper towel, (I eat the egg afterwards 😅) Now the pus is draining, with blood sometimes. And I’m sensitive to the light of big screen of TV, not to my phone screen though thank God. But it’s not as tender, sore and warm as before since the pus is already draining out. I hope to God it will go away already because of its discomfort. I did not take any pain reliever tho. Just probiotics supplements and Vitamin C. I bought over the counter eye drops for red and irritated eyes but I think it doesn’t really work unlike the breastmilk, so I stashed it away.
I also sleep a lot since I limit myself to screen time. It’s just so annoying to wake up with crusty eyes from the dried pus. I wash my eyes and face with warm water and liquid baby soap/shampoo. I also avoid meat now because it can worsen my inflammation. I drink turmeric latte twice a day for its anti-inflammatory properties.
I may be low on vitamin A so I should have that pumpkin soup I’ve been wanting to have. Also need to eat carrots. After all vitamin A and beta carotene are good for the eyes.
7 days update: the pus is all gone and it’s not tender anymore. It is healing and I stopped putting breastmilk and boiled egg warm compress on it. I just blink when it gets itchy at times and try my best not to rub it as I’m afraid I might touch it with dirty hands. That’s why I’ve been washing my hands constantly, clean freaking. I’m also back to my skincare routine as I have stopped when my stye was really swelling. I am incorporating aloe vera for its antibacterial and wound healing properties. I massage it around my eyelids.
    more things I learned
    - eyelid massage with dry q-tip by Dr. Andy Rosenfarb
    - dry eyes moisturizing eye drops to help with the drainage of the debris by Dr. Noonci
    - if you have diabetes and high cholesterol, more chance of getting stye
    - adults are more prone to styes because they have more oil in their glands
    - IPL is the fastest way to get rid of styes by Eye School with Dr. D
    - it takes 7 days or more for it to start healing
    - people with stye have significantly Vitamin A and D deficiency by Dr. Eric Berg
    - take Zinc vitamins to boost immune system. Zinc is needed for vitamin A absorption
    - wipe sliced raw garlic on top of the infected eyelid by Dr. Eric Berg
    - use clean hands around your eyes always

I had it 3 or 4 days ago, my stye completely heals for almost 3 weeks but I was so desperate for it to be gone. Once I felt it forming I mediately do hot compress with water and cotton. Yes hot not warm I want it removed immediately Idc abt burns anymore. But i did not burn since it cools of a bit once absorb in the cotton. I do this for 3 minutes 5 times or more a day. Then I was searching what I else I could do, and I found a comment here which says garlic helps, so the next morning I did it. It stings for abt 3 secs. I didn't crush the garlic but sliced it instead and dab its sliced end on the outer part where the stye is, then I put in on the lower lashline where my actual stye is. I did not rinse it, then the stye just pops on its own, the swelling and redness was also reduced. Just be careful on the garlic as it can burn the skin. Don't crush it just use the ends. I did this every morning and before sleeping. Then I dab a tea water on my lids to help the sore. I also take 1000mg vitamin c and zinc capsules to boost my immune system. And drink lots of water. Don't touch it and clean it w/ mild soap, I did all of this consistently for 2 days. Most of all, don't think about it too much, just let it be, you'll just notice the changes and think that it will heal immediately. Now my stye has improved. It wasn't completely gone as i still feel the slightest lump when I push it hard.

Put several clean face or gauze pads in the cup. When applying this, keep the pads on for several minutes. Throw away after each use. Keep applying until swelling goes down.
