Yes, I have experienced this as well. But in my opinion that doesnt fall under security feature. I might be wrong.

How much did it cost to get it done from ISB, actual slip amount...

Thanks for the feedback.
There were two reasons,
1 - I wanted number of my own choice which wasn't possible with Universal System of Punjab at that time (Not sure what's the situation now).
2 - People who registered for Punjab Numbers are still waiting for Genuine plates for years now. Even the cards are issued after several months. I got them both things in 2 weeks.
I paid Rs. 60,000 to dealership, this obviously include their own commission. I don't have the breakdown, sorry.

Not sure if this will be available in your country's variant.
But it's simple if you lock the car and if after 30 seconds someone try to open it from inside it will start alarm.
