Another concept for three musketeers: slightly buffed stats and you can place them manually, so if you select the card you have to tap your screen three times to place all of them. Doesn't seem strong at first but is extremely broken when you know what you're doing.

A horizontal deployment could honestly just be a cool buff to the three musketeers
Honestly in general the 1st idea would be a nice buff or at least a different change without an evolution
Concept: the musketeers will change to rapiers that deal slightly more damage when targets are close. (Which is accurate to the reference)
this is a cool idea
My evolution concepts for three musketeers:
1. They all have a powerful cannons instead of a muskets
2. They shoot multiple bullets at once like hunter, but shoot musket's bullets that deal as much damage as a normal one
3. They spawn birds that are like bats, but if a bird dies, one of the musketers will respawn 1 bird every 7 seconds. The max birds alive at the same time is 4
I think concept 3 should have the knock back
Decoys are a really good idea but it wouldn't fit well with musketeers

idk why but I thought this video will show a concept of the evolution being less an 9 elixir three musketeers
Idea: All musketeers alive out of the three will clone itself every 10 seconds. (The clone can't clone itself.)
Like the real musketeers they have cannon-shields when they lose it,they attack with a sword

Imma build on the Super Shot idea. What if instead of a large cannon ball, what if each musketeer had a color. A shot from the blue musket would label a troop blue if he lived after it. Same with red and Green. The effect goes away if the troop hasnt been shot again in a hot minute, or if all 3 colors are effecting the same troop at once, then of which th troop will explode. Not instant death, but significant damage dealt. Splash too.
I was thinking something along those lines. Like "you'll get rewarded for keeping the musketeers together"

What it does: Spawns Zappies, while having reflection damage, like the Electro Giant
Spawns: Level 11 Zappies
Spawn rate: 7s
Spawned upon death: 1 troop
HP: 1354
Reflected damage: 192
Reflection stun: 0.5s
Reflection radius: 4 (tiles)
Death damage: 386
Death stun: 1.2s
Death effects' radius: 3
I understand if you think this is a bad idea or if it is too much of a hassle to animate, but even so, I hope you enjoyed reading this!
Give 'em shields that regenerate over time. This way, they can't just be fireballed
Knock back effect could be cool
my concept would be that they share HP, or they don't die until the 3rd one dies

The best evolution for the Three Musketeers is to equip them with a shield!
