- Hello and welcome to MCT Trains 🚂 Welcome to the second part of my Class 56 special 'Screaming Grids'. This episode is similar to the first one in the fact it's loaded with grid action!! 😃 We have various workings and some extended footage of 56049 working several workings and the highlight for me is the return of 56051 'Survival' to mainline duties 👍 Plenty of scream, power and tones as always..

Tremendous Griddage! I'm really enjoying your coverage of these screaming monsters with their thrumming Paxmans. My son now lives in Colchester, quite near the station, so I've told him what to look and listen out for.

Awesome video Matt, I absolutely love those 56’s and I think the colas livery suits them perfectly! That was certainly an action packed video but my favourite has to be the clip in the lovely sunset with the tones, signal drop and thrash!🙂Great video as always 🙂

Well.. I didn't quite see it the millisecond it was released, but I did see it! My favourite clip has to be 09:00 the tones, scream, station, signal dropping and that gorgeous sunset - absolutely brilliant!! Amazing video, really enjoyed!!
That’s the driver who I got to give you the tones on the quarry train past you. He’s on that this weds and Thurs 😀
@@mcttrains nice!! There's two drivers by me who I think are your friends, one's an older looking guy, the other is a pretty young guy but he's (I mean this respectfully - no hate) bald. Which one is it, or are they both your friends? I was speaking to the older one when I went to Chester, he's awesome - told me what the 70's were like to drive (which unfortunately isn't good at all...) And he was genuinely awesome! 😎😁👍 Not spoken to the other yet

@@mcttrains ah right! Yeah, he's ace, told me the many issues with the 70's cab, due to them being a panel essentially - when at speed they rattle like mad... Dude still keeps a smile on whilst driving them regardless! Legend! 😁

I Love Grids! They very rarely run on my line, but the other day i saw 081 dragging a 701 tailed by a 47. You cannot match the sound!
There brilliant. 081 and 47 back tomo and weds for another drag 👍🏻
