This is a great band, good music. Their 1st album is fire. Enjoy this rabbit hole. Song's: What you give, Little Suzi, The way it is, Modern day cowboy, Signs, Getting better, Love song 😀
As a music fanatic, I listen to everything. I have listened to all of Tesla albums. They're okay. Couple of good songs here and there. However, this album The Great Radio Controversy, recorded in 1988, is incredible. 12 of the 13 songs are excellent! I cant say enough about how excellent this album is. Vocals, drums, bass, guitars, every one is firing on all cylinders. I love the mix of acoustic guitars with dirty rock riffs and an edge of metal splashed around. Stadium rock band with blues garage rock songs. I discovered it when I was around 14 or 15. Instant love. My 2 favorite songs on the album are "Paradise" and "Yesterdaze Gone". To be honest, "Paradise" is actually one of the greatest songs Ive ever heard. And I listen to a ton of music.
So glad you reacted the way you did to this song. I felt exactly the same way the first time I heard the song when I was around your age when the song came out! The mighty Frank Hannon on guitar never disappoints! 🤘
Awesome reaction! Hang Tough is an incredible tune... First saw these guys live opening for Def Leppard in 1987. The main thing that stood out was they all had old school knee pads on (except the drummer), and there were different songs throughout the set where they drop to their knees and headbang and still play their instruments/sing. I had never seen this before...it was WILD!...They were like not giving two sh$ts what anyone thought and were rocking our faces off... It was one of the most impressive opening band performances I've ever seen live...
Frank Hannon guitar/piano/bass/keyboard/drum and songwriter started the band with Jeff Keith lead singer . Frank has played with MANY other's Lynyrd Skynyrd, skid row, Pat traverse. Def Leppard and many more artist. My favorite lately is Susie on the up Way it is Love song And many other songs that didn't get much Air play on the radio. ✌🏼🎸
At this time 1989: Jeff Keith - vocals; Tommy Skeoch - guitars, backing vocals; Frank Hannon - guitars, piano, synthesizer, organ; Brian Wheat - bass, backing vocals; Troy Luccketta - drums
Seem them 4 times in concert in the 80s and a couple of times over the last 5 years.........they still kick ass live! Frank Hannon so underated as a lead guitarist!
Tesla easily one of my all time favorite bands....saw them open for David Lee Roth and then for Def Leppard in '87 I believe....they're still going strong today albeit with a slightly different lineup now....keep listening to these guys!
The band comes from the USA and when circus magazine had their add in their pages back in 1987 for their 1st. Cd or cassette tape is when I bought it I think and loved it
I love that you are reacting to Tesla! They are one of my favorite bands from the 80s. I'd suggest you check out LAZY DAYS, CRAZY NIGHTS. That is my favorite Tesla song...and there are many that are great.
You guys have to listen to the songs making magic and Lady Luck. Really great guitar play. I have been listening to Tesla for 40 years. The great radio controversy is their best album.
Hi Guys! One of my favorite bands, they're from Sacramento, sure comments have tons of info! Little Suzi, EZ Come EZ Go, Comin' Atcha Live, Modern Day Cowboy for starters! So excited 🤗 DO NOT MISS THIS BAND'S POWER ❤😉
Paradise is the best song! You guys will like it...check it out! Nobody else has reacted! Amazing song. Live or studio! Keep up the good work! Hey the bands sang about every guys dream! Should have been there!
I actually thought they were a new band. This came when I was 30...There was so many outstanding bands this one was overshadowed. Sounds like a Christian band. Really good band 👍
You guys are right Frank Hannon IS fast and a great player...but honestly, you just scratched the surface of guitarists from the 80s era. There are guys WAY faster and insane players! Check out Richie Kotzen and his video Payin Dues... It will blow your MIND!! He is from the 80s., but the song is newer from his solo career.... and he doesnt use a pick...he just uses his fingers...
@@lisagraham2944 Me neither actually :) But a German band. They have many good songs. Dont remember them all. But could check out "Hellfire" also. Or "Lies". ;any years ago I was at a point where I still listened a lot to music but had heard almost everything from that era. The more known bands at least. So started searching and discovered there were an endless supply of less known bands with really good songs also.
Jeff Keith is the volcalist. Brian Wheat is the bassist. Frank Hannon is the lead guitarist. I believe the original drummer is no longer with the band. The rhythm guitarist has changed over the years. Frank Hannon is an awesome underrated guitarist. Check this out: ruclips.net/video/9KCwynyRgfk/видео.html
I like the reactions to the 80's rock you guys do BUT, a lot of these songs from back then were mixed left and right with different instruments on each side. With only one headphone in your only getting 1/2 the song in one ear.
Frank Hannon - Guitar (Guy with 2 Guitars), Tommy Skeoch - Guitar, Jeff Keith - Vocals, Brian Wheat - Bass, Troy Luccketta - Drums
Frank Hannon and Tommy Skeoch are the guitarists! This entire album is phenomenal! The Great Radio Controversy
This is a great band, good music. Their 1st album is fire. Enjoy this rabbit hole. Song's: What you give, Little Suzi, The way it is, Modern day cowboy, Signs, Getting better, Love song 😀

Add Edison's Medicine to your named songs and I will agree.
There were so many songs that never made it to the radio and they were also great.

Tesla dedicated their song Song & Emotion to their friend -- Def Leppard guitarist Steve Clark who died in 1991.

Frankie Hannon is the lead guitarist. If you want to hear some of his best, listen to their hit "love song,"
Gene Simone of KISS discovered Tesla it was the dual guitarist that he noticed just like when he discovered VAN HALEN it was Eddie guitar playing
5 from Cali. Frank Hannon is the guitarist.

Tesla is an amazing band, severely underrated, until Love Song made major air play, any song you choose, it's great!

The first time I saw Tesla was in 1987 when they opened for Def Leppard on the Hysteria tour. THEY BLEW THE ROOF OF THE DUMP!!!
