Yoooo I almost pulled the trigger on one of these when they were on sale for $600 something, but $500? Jeez, it's almost worth the 50 mile round trip to see if the Sam Ash near me has one.
Yeah, all of the other Sam Ash sales I saw were like 5% off, I think mine was nearing the end when I went in and just wanted all of the stuff gone. Totally worth it!
If you had to choose. Would it be the se silver sky. Or a Fender Stratocaster ??
It's really a hard choice, but I think right now, I am feeling the Silver Sky because of the more vintage feel to it.

They are awesome guitars but when I played one it didn’t sound like a strat at all.
Completely different sound
The pickups, specifically the bridge, aren't as high output as a strat pickup, I think. They don't do that harsh high end thing. But they still sound good to my ear.
So you’ve bought a copy of a fender instead of buying a real fender.
Well, I have a real Fender as well, so yupp, sure did. 💅
In many circumstances, copies have proven to be as good and in cases even better than an original.

@aliengrey6052 depends on your interpretation of mojo, and as far as history, they are a relative newcomer but have made their mark as high quality instruments.
A guitar that plays well is a guitar that plays well regardless of history. In this case, the Silver Sky is amazing in its own right.
People pay 2 much attention 2 name brands like fender and Gibson the old ones were way better than the new ones fender should worry about making one good strat instead making abunch of junk
