I better see basement cricket in future episodes... soon. I'll be watching for that. =P
if the blower motor is a psc, amps go up when the access panel is removed - motor unloads as static goes down, loads as static increases.
ecm is different due to constant torque or direct airflow compensation.
Best pic, we appreciate this post! 💗
I like Bears slippers
It's interesting not just Supercool!
Let's go #LoveBosch
if labeling capacitor/wires, you're better of using BL = Blue. BK = Black. it's that way in many wiring schematics and board printing and other labeling.
** I forgot BR = Brown
Absolutely love💕 both you and your Shares Many thanks
"If you ain't testing, your guessing....." Nice Video, as always Mikey!
Just had annual PM on my 3 HVAC units today. You did 2 things they did not do which is: 1. check the contactor coil resistance 2. treat the condensate water. Everything else was the same. FYI: They found on one unit the wire insulation near the spade connector wires to the capacitor had started to degrade leaving the wire exposed. Maybe the extra-long AC run times in 100+ degree temps with heat index temps around 108 we've had for the last week or two had something to do with melting the wire insulation. Oh, the technician was a female who finished HVAC school about 3 years ago.
She did pretty Good just a Couple of add ons. She Found the wire thats being observant of her Surroundings. 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great Picture
Checking voltage drop across the contactor is also a quick check that can show issues
stupendaaaa,Super ! You are so striking!☀
Omg basement cricket gonna have his own channel!
Unexpected smashing pumpkins
OoOoHhh I like this one😍😍🌹
He needs some longer pants😂😂😂😂
Mikey pipes let’s go
U don't do a carbon dioxide test on your PM Bro?
Before I listened to your channel I would never test capacitors unless they might be bad, causing a problem.
Very nice video Mr. Pipes
Only thing I do that is different is I test pressures and amps of the condenser fan and compressor
@@PipeDoctor your good I figured you probably did. But yeah I take about a hour to do a maintenance service.
In general, on installs, do y'all always run a new line set, or is it an as needed thing?
B for Blue and B for Brown....I'm so confused....I love your channel and your way of teaching very effective. Thanks!
Why is there a condensate trap since the evap is on the positive side?
I like it
Thanks Mike
$20.00 if Chris eats the basement cricket. 😁 . Great video Mikey pipes.
Leave basement cricket there for next year.
@@PipeDoctor Naw this one is better. $40 if he poops it out in the pool!
That furnace/evap set up isn’t supposed to have a drain trap unless it’s vented prior to….. per installation manual
You should include the price of the job
👍
Mikey, can you use the secondary drain port to put the tablets into the drain pan to save time?
@@PipeDoctor understand. I was just curious if it’s possible
I called a guy one time for my company, he attempted to bill us his hourly rate plus the same rate for his helper so x2
More water heater service calls please.
Mikey you should of opened up the door to show chris the amps. They actually go UP and fall as you put the door on! With an ECM motor its opposite...
@@PipeDoctor sippy cup?! Hillarius but trainable?
@@PipeDoctor please no sippy cup...It would be cool if you brought back Kelvin!
If you put b for blue and b for brown……..
Hello👋 fab
Those capacitors “almost all capacitors that come with condensing units” are junk. Even on new installs I remove them and use replace them with the USA made ones. I quit pulling the leads to test them it’s more accurate to test them while the unit is running plus it is faster.
Mine is on the original after 6 years. New one sitting on the shelf if I need it along with an igniter, and flame sensor.
Superhot
Those color coded icp caps are junk
Jew plumber……yikes….expensive
