Maia is one of the first larger herbies the devs have added so far that is _not_ meant to fight in every situation. It's build for speed and stamina to outrun any danger. It has a shove to push over pursuers and take advantage of the head start you can give yourself in this manner.
@foreverbeep1339 the turn radius is definitely garbage standing on 2 legs, on all 4s it's a bit better and I found running on 2 legs, pressing space to switch and turning st the same time gives a good switch around time
Maia tips: use kicks to stun and follow with a stomp, kicks do very little damage but stomps do a lot of damage. use the hind leg stance for more speed.
Maia’s design and balance is basically perfect imo, the devs killed it this time. If Allo is anywhere near this good, evrima is gonna start thriving pretty soon
Maia is able to 1v3 ceras pretty easily, just gotta learn combat. U go in The speed kinda stance and play like a carno, knock people over and then stomp. Knocking doesn’t do much damage but the stomp is insane.
@Willi.andy22 it's fun if you can take losing hours of progress, which is hard but u get used to it. u gotta enjoy the moment and not focus on getting to adult so much
quad mode is currently useless. dont bother to ever use it in combat. if you want to do the most damage, be in bipedal mode. shoulder check(right click and move screen to the direction you wanan hit) to stun and then do a stomp (hold left click)
also stomp for maia does 300 dmg as much as dibble but his other attacks do only about 100 still actually good dmg if you land it, 3 shots cerato and carno with stun and stomp

@Even6 it might be true, but why didn't you checked it by yourself? It's clear that bipedal stance doesn't burn a lot of stamina + has superior speed that would easily allow you to run away from ceras
I've tried Nesting with Dryo and Beipi on Horde Test, yet had no luck with both of them. The Beipi can't pick up the sticks, the Dryo can't even place down the Nest. Did you by some chance try Nesting on the Horde Test Patch as well? It's broken on Evrima completely, I had high hopes that they fix it with the Christmas Patch :(

The isle seems to just go down in the quality. I mean, graphics have gone down a lot to improve the fps; now it looks like sh-t. The rain and falling leaves wont go to the same direction with the wind, as if there are two different winds affecting two different things separatedly, why? lazy dev work or they just use assets and wont have the skill to do anything about it but at that point I would just leave it out rather than have it mess up like that.

How do u kick and how do u stomp? I wanna make sure I use the right attacks
@ppurem lmb to shove. Hold rmb to stomp. Soon as you shove, whip around so you slide turn then get up in em with a stomp or 2.

you can press space or ctrl to switch stances at anytime btw even while moving

Male and Female dinos have different colors available to them, males have brighter colors and females more muted and dark, you should know this
females usually have more variety than just brown's was my point
