Loverboy 🏹♥️ is Here… Just purchased a 2005 Boxster… was looking for how to change the filter in the front bumper, glad I found this Video … Didn’t know about the pollen filter👍🏾
I watched about 10 of these, but none of them was the same as my 2008 S Limited Edition (the orange one). I had to figure it out for myself that the black tab holding the filter in - which has no apparent screws holding it in place - SLIDES to the side, and then it pops out, after you flip the (other) side clip down (on the right, short, side in American cars); not the most intuitive. As well, those two plastic pieces that you have to remove do not exactly slide easily back in: you have to pay attention with the center, large, piece where the hinges go, before you flip it down (best done from in front of the vehicle, even if it may be a reach for someone with shorter arms). "Germany engineering!" I hope these additional notes help the next person - will post it on every related video. Good luck.
Dealer was going to charge me $500 as a “Required” item for service 2. Ridiculous. They said it’s because it’s “hard to get to”. This couldn’t get easier.
I have the same car and there are some odd things about it...rain that runs down onto the battery....no dispstick...road tax costs double the insurance...rear tyre prices...spark plug & coil replacing hassles...apart from that 👍

Ran into the same thing! Went to go change mine and was wondering why it looked weird! haha thank you!
Is this filter in the same place for LHD and RHD cars?
Should be on the other side for a LHD, if you pull up the trims you will soon see. It will be the same process 👍🏼

Thanks for the video. Hope you didn't find any other areas where the rodents snacked on your car.
Luckily not 🤣🤣

They still make you smile 😃
It appears that you purchased more car than you can afford.
No wonder the shops charge an arm and a leg to do maintenance on these cars.
Porsche is a two syllable word.
What a shit design by Porsche!
You are incapable of doing this? LOL.
