- Excerpt of the controversial movie by Richard Wolstencroft "Pearls Before Swine" which portrays the life of a hitman (Daniel, played by Boyd Rice) who has an interest in such things as fascism or S&M. In this scene, he met Marion Gough (played by Douglas Pearce) to collect rare pieces of erotic literature. The american version of this dvd was released in 2006 by Caciocavallo and the music you can hear in the background is the song "C'est un rêve" by Death In June.
www.soleilmoon....
Their acting actually looks better, than my average social interactions.
I love how they're almost playing parody versions of themselves
They're essentially playing themselves - without any sense parody, which makes it even better.
This comment section is far more engaging than the acting in this piece.
It's a mix between people laughing their asses off, and bootlicking (literally, I mean) fetishists praising the film.
It's pretty entertaining.
@@blacksunapocalypse indeed , though I will say Douglas was a sexy beast back in the day, I would have let him sing me to sleep in a totally non gay way.
Absolute Kino. Tarkovsky weeps
Indeed......
you tellin me boyd fried this rice?
Lol 😂 veggie rice please
I love how this is just an extended plug for the author's favorite stuff.
They both could have fit perfectly into Tommy Wiseau's The Room. Although i really like Douglas calm voice, it doesn't differ much from his singing voice.
"I hit her. And I enjoyed it. Oh, hi Doug."
my thoughts exactly. whenever i reccommend this film i always introduce it as "the room but with nazifetishism"
@@arkanlloyd8848 And with bdsm
Death in Room
@@arkanlloyd8848 i wish I knew people I could recommend this movie to lol
I just love how Boyd probably kept a straight face when he said "Oh, yes. You know, you don't see this kind of study about the erotic arts these days"!
Honestly, this scene has so much victory all over it! Boyd looks like he just stepped out of a soul crushing AA meeting, what with the loose suit and emotionless face, while Douglas looks like the stylish and suave pornographer that's keeping low at the suburbs, hiding from some nasty groping allegations!
Pearce looks like a right nonce here.
That was...oddly specific. But i can see it.
"Yes"
"Ah yes"
"Yes"
why does this remind me of gachimuchi
Is this movie for fucking real?
You can imagine that these are probably the kind of conversations Boyd and Pearce have in real life however.
Unfortunately.
@@EmpressKadesh The gays are under your bed
@@kilianconn5091 Probably.
Love the mention of the "Satan" magazine from the '60s ('50s?). No one in this 'scene' ever seems to get over that...
Just the idea of Douglas as a collector of obscure pornography (in a comic book box no less) cracks me up.
I do appreciate Douglas Pearce. Fearless agent provocateur and beautiful musical force of nature.
that sure is a creaky chair
You're a lucky man.
Huge death in june fan, and I can't help but giggle at this performance, it's so eloquent yet absurd.
The Room of the Neofolk world.
this is incredible. should be on display in museums of modern art
Awesome scene, but it needs a little bit more chair creaking
The acting skills on display are incredible.
Literally just C’est un reve overlaid in the background lol
Actually, it's more badly filmed than badly played.
Well,that too
It’s kind of weird how people are so critical on this scene in particular. I think out of the whole movie, scenes where the characters are actually human for a second, just having some personal time to breathe, are the best parts. Like, I don’t know, all the in your face edginess didn’t land with me. Even when i was massively into Boyd’s work. But this reminds me of like, post industrial acts, like, when you started getting projects like Nurse With Wound, Coil, Current 93, Come Organisation material, and of course DI6.
It’s definitely really awkward though. I really wish it was executed differently, i don’t know if this medium really speaks to me
Witness the greatest acting that has ever been put to tape. Brando... Pacino... Streep... Hoffman... all pale before Boyd Rice.
lol
Good, they are playing themselves
Watching this feels like either a fever dream or the best trip ever.
Did Douglas ever bugger Boyd??
tarot says yes
@@f45elipe Tarot cards are a path to the devil!
I hope so
@@mmmeinzer HOT
That's some fine acting there.
"Pray tell."
"try me"
Fantastic actors, I am so convinced.
Douglas P actually isn't so bad.
Please consider uploading he whole movie for our mutual enjoyment.
full upload is already on youtube :)
@arkanlloyd8848 where???

From the channel Al Palpo - Musick & Video
isn’t the only film Douglas has been in 😳😳😳
apart from hardcore gay porn films yes 😂
I dont find the acting here to be as poor as you all seem to. The mundane delivery of this bizarre dialogue just works for me.
This feels like a weird dream I would have.
Serious study has declined...
Oblivion dialogues
Thank you for this
These two make amazing music but fuck me - this looks like one of the worst films ever made :D I have to watch it...the script and acting in this scene are total wank
Yeah you right. I don't watch this film yet, but this scene looks like a low budget porn film.
In fairness, it's worth a watch just for a laugh. It's that terrible
Oh boy this is a tough watch.
DIJ; Klaus Barbie in the background. Sweet.
1st time I saw Boyd Rice headlining with , guess who? DIJ opening + Der Blutharsch , this was premiered at the event . Death in June having had stolen , unexpectedly , at least to me , the show 100% .
the chair needs to creak much less
Thats the 9th thing wrong with this scene.
' he hit me....and it felt like a kiss'
I love Boyd and Douglas but good jesus this is bad
I have the dvd......one of my favorite films...
Garth Marenghi could walk in, as if nothing happened and make the dialogue much more enjoyable...Well, I say enjoyable... ;p
As much as I love their muzak, why, oh why, does no one mention how atrocious their acting is?
oscar worthy
You're obviously a man of refined taste
@@arkanlloyd8848 tky, but im a girl lololol
Ahahaha this scene. Terrible movie, but this bit always cracks me up.
Hilariously bad acting. Feels like a Resident Evil 1 cutscene.
"You're a lucky man."
Boyd must take up the slack for the loss of the great artist Kenneth Anger and start making more films. Boyd is an art god and the world wants him to create more art!
Does anyone know what was the cash amount of the merchandise?
£14.99
A handjob and a few pounds of spare change...
The movie of all time
I met you guys both in boston 1998. Cant even find footage online of the very first us tour. I remember what douglas said to me. I asked a question. Love u both. Dearly. Yes. Make movies! I read all marquis sade by 17 years old. Btw.
ach, douglas' voice!!! as ever...
I have the books behind him, I own those same books too
Wow you’re😊 almost married
This seems like something Chris Morris would be involved in
you're obviously a man of refined taste
Say "lor" and knot "tan" Judah Tribe of POWER>
People don't get this movie...nor the acting.
no one involved seemed to do much to change that
"Pray tell." What is there to get? You can appreciate their music, but realize how had at acting they are.
@@blacksunapocalypse cause you think hollywood acting is good. it isnt.
@@itnaklipse1669 Lol, you can't lump thousands of actors together and say they aren't good, just like that. That makes no sense.
But this is basically equal to "The Room" in terms of skill in acting.
@MithrasAtDusk
Lol, no kidding! When Boyd steps out of the car he looks like he's just walking out of the correctional facility!

What song is playing?
C'est un rêve" by Death In June. Stays in the description
The acting seems...wooden haha.
Douglas swishes.
hahaha who wrote this poor script
Tommy Wissaeu
@hedersknyffeln Lol.... However in my opinion, Rice is not trying to be a provocateur, he is just being himself and people think he's trying to be because he's provocative without fitting the conventional stereotypes of what it is to be one. An unconventional iconoclast. He is refined, shows decorum, and has certain socially inappropriate interests. That is all.
mis dos maridos
@ixceix its the other way around.
wow that is some terrible acting from the both them. It is a pretty awful film.
The acting here is....embarrassing :P
